We stayed in the log cabins: functional and clean, well appointed but rustic. Four hour drive from Cape Town. Quiet and peaceful. Spectacular night skies, awesome vistas. Ideal if you want to sit and relax in a karoo landscape, but remember your paint-box and novel, and a fan (in summer): they've got games to borrow, and ice, cool drinks and fatty lamb chops to buy. Sweet...Guest review byMarkSouth Africa - 10.0
What a great place. We enjoyed every minute.
What a great place. We enjoyed every minute. Hanno was there to meet us and check us in which was done very smoothly. The home made bread and milk was a welcome treat on arrival. Thanks very much Hanno for the great accommodation.Guest review byIanSwitzerland - 8.0

An attractive country town nestling in the Langeberg mountains. A Spar and other shops are there and fuel available. The Cape Dry dried fruit activity is in the town. The Museum and NGZ Mission church were interesting. Street cleanliness was quite good- little litter. We felt safe walking around in the daytime.Guest review byJohnSouth Africa - 10.0

The 4x2 trail was perfect to test out my repaired Pajero's rear diff. The accommodation was comfortable and perfect for families to entertain each other with board games. The balcony provides a perfect setting to sit outside on camp chairs while dad is tending to the braai.Guest review byHermanSouth Africa - 8.0
We stayed in Honey Bee Cottage.
We stayed in Honey Bee Cottage. It has 2 rooms with big comfy beds. The cottage was clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. The outside braai (BBQ) is a barrel so can be moved. The splash pool and hot-tub are nice (although we did not use the hot-tub). The only negatives was that the one bathroom/shower is shared by both bedrooms (each room has a door leading into the bathroom). I was also surprised at how close the neighboring cottage was, as none of the photos showed this.Guest review byShaunRothSouth Africa - 8.0
We had breakfast at Rambling Rose restaurant.
We had breakfast at Rambling Rose restaurant. We will definitely recommend this one. Great food and friendly staff. Cape Dry shop at their premises was also a good experience with prices that is not too expensive.Guest review byAndreSouth Africa
