This place is extraordinary. We stayed in Rock House after staying at a private reserve for a couple of days and had a wonderful time. The area is amazing and you actually need at least 2/3 nights here: 1 full day for Kruger and definitely 1-2 full days to appreciate the lodge and relax: there are great hiking opportunities and the morning game drive is wonderful (Ross is a great guide). Everyone is very friendly (especially Mavis who served our dinner and was very friendly). The food was also very good, and they have a great wine list with fair prices. We will definitely come back in the future !

It is located in a quiet neighborhood in a tranquil setting that promotes nature. Although far enough to "get away from it all" it is also within close proximity to the central business district. The staff, although extremely friendly and readily available are discreet enough to let you enjoy your stay without feeling overly stifled.Clean, aesthetically pleasing and extremely affordable.Will definitely recommend and will be staying here again.

The rooms were luxurious and very large. The pool area was cozy and the hotel was very secluded in general, which created a nice atmosphere. The food was out of this world! Amazing dinner and breakfast! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, would always go back.

Everything was placed nicely for example the cups , glasses, tea and coffee. We had enough pillows. The pool was right outside our door.

Schoemanskloof is a beautiful area with stunning views and Waterfalls. There is a lot of nice affordable accomodation as well. We stayed at Klipinnibos which were absolutely wonderful!! There is a lot of hiking possibilities around the area with a lot of shade.

Gorgeous escarpment and unusual rock formations. Great to see the wild horses and visit the magnificent waterfall. Excellent restaurant with the best Eisbein and beef goulash at Bohemian. Wonderful Sunday afternoon music too. Nice to meander through the village streets. We were lucky to see the Autumn leaves turning so delightful colours everywhere.

NOTHING WRONG WITH THE HOST. HE TRIED HIS BEST TO ACCOMMODATE US. BOOKING.COM MADE A DOUBLE BOOKING. THE HOST OFFER US HIS OWN BEDROOM EN SUITE. WE BOOKED TWO ROOMS BECAUSE WE WERE 3 PEOPLE. THIRD PERSON HAD TO SLEEP ON FLOOR. I HOLD BOOKING.COM RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS. YOU TOOK THE MONEY FOR TWO ROOMS BUT WE ONLY GOT ONE.

Awesome dog friendly venue, our fur babies had a ball swimming and hiking. Venue is self catering and is well equipped. Venue is on a dirt road but we did not have any problem with our vehicles getting there. Nelspruit is close enough for doing shopping and the Kruger National Park was close by for day trips.

Kaapsehoop is a beautiful quaint historical village hidden in the mist belt along the Escarpment in South Africa. I would strongly recommend this village for nature lovers with its many hikes. It is also great for any-one with an interest in history with a few old ruins of the offices and the houses, most made of corrugated iron, dating from the the towns heyday as a gold mining town in the late 19th century.
