Breakfast was excellent. Lovely variety and with kid friendly options. Easy to get to where we needed to be in terms of location. Very family friendly. Lots of fun for the kids. Would have been a nice touch to have reception tell us all the wonderful facilities (other than the pool) on offer when we arrived but it was easy to figure it out as we explored. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful (especially the gate security- big shout out to them)

The staff are phenomenal! Have never been anywhere where ALL the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. We had been given a different room to the one we had booked, and they immediately sorted it out, found us another, and gave us an upgraded room. When we called room service, our phone was giving issues, so the lady in room Service reported it on her own accord. They immediately came and replaced the phone. Spotless rooms, substantial servings of delicious food, it is the ideal spot in Midrand. We can not commend the staff enough from the Reception to the Room Service, Technical, Security at the gate, Restaurant and Wait Staff they were incredible. The only place we will stay in Midrand from now on.

    My partner and I had an incredible stay at Veranda House from November 1st to November 3rd, 2024. Allan, the owner, was exceptionally kind and welcoming, making sure we felt at home throughout our stay. The entire staff—Nancy, Vanessa, Lesedi, Karabo, and others—were all warm and attentive, adding to the wonderful experience. I noticed some previous reviews mentioned issues with the pool, but when we arrived, it was spotless and ready for swimming, much to the delight of the other guests. We also indulged in a relaxing outdoor massage, which was a perfect addition to our stay. The peaceful, quiet setting and charming vintage decor made for a beautifully nostalgic atmosphere that truly helped us unwind. Although some reviews mentioned concerns about the gravel road, we found it quite manageable—any car could handle it with ease. And the nighttime view? Absolutely breathtaking. This was an unforgettable staycation, and I’ll definitely be returning. Huge thanks to Veranda House and the fantastic team for their hospitality. We left with no regrets, only wonderful memories.

    This was my first trip to South Africa and it was exactly how I imagined to be. The Lodge is run by a lovely family with staff who provide excellent service. It is situated outside the city which was perfect as we were looking for a quiet and all-in-all place. The host upgraded us to a honeymoon suite, as it was our honeymoon, which was stunning. If you are looking for African style stay, this is your place.

    This estate is located at a very good spot with nice surroundings, the mall of Africa is at a 2 minutes driving, the estate security system is efficient to prevent theft, robbery and it dissuades the intentions of criminal attacks, thinks that we fear in Johannesburg. But the owner needs to put emphasis on the rooms cleanliness

    Very beautiful area. Situated In Dainfern with easy access to shopping centres, Easy to get around the place. Number of restaurants nearby. I would avoid getting a place without a balcony because the views are a can't miss.

    The place exactly like what you see on the pictures. It’s beautiful , safe and secure. The host communicates with you before your arrival and during should you need anything. Don’t forget your swimsuit cause there’s a pool and everything in the kitchen (kitchen utensil’s and items) it’s close to a shopping complex too.

    Good location away from the busy areas yet has all the facilities you need. Good food and good atmosphere and it is a complete halaal facility. The activities are great like the padel courts , gym and indoor pool. The breakfast and restaurant seems good food as well.

    This place is incredibly amazingly beautiful and the best accommodation thus far for me in the area. Was easy to find . The host ,the cleaner all was so helpful . Violet is an amazing person and host . My partner and I will definitely be booking this place again . 😍😍😍😍The cleanliness is 200%. The area is quite. Everything worked perfectly fine. Everything about this place is incredibly amazingly beautiful. Keep it up guys . I will be back soon .

    Plenty of shops and restaurants available in Boskruin. Close to a number of shopping malls and the freeway which provides access to all areas in Johannesburg. Nice, neat, quiet residential area and not too far to travel out to Hartbeespoort Dam, offering you the opportunity to visit all the various sites along the way. Easy access to two large casino complexes if the gambling thing is something you like to do.

    I felt hostaged and the caretaker had to take my remote to give me the remote to go out and buy food, moreover the facilitators yelled at me telephonically when asking to help Furthermore our door wasn’t working completely,on a rainy day day stayed up at night with an open door fearing for our safety

WE LOVE & APPRECIATE what wedding coordinating team Kevin, Andile, Professor & our DJ did. We give them 120% pass mark.

    We were very dissapointed on all ameneties that was promised on the site, therefore we want some sort of refund. From all our work trips to JHB, this was disgusting to experience such bad sevice from the owners inspite of us telling them of our issues whilst we there. I will not book at this place again, until we get some compensation back for all our poor facilites.
