Travel around and most of the time relaxing

From the moment we entered Babohi, we were blown away by the exceptional level of hospitality that was shown to us. As soon as we checked in, we were asked to select a scent for the duration of our stay - such a thoughtful and unique touch that made us feel like the experience at Babohi was going to be very personalised and very high-end. The accommodation was so incredibly opulent. Aside from the stunning decor, we could tell there were so many thoughtful touches in order to elevate the experience even further. The views of the reserve from the room were also unbelievable! The food and drink were outstanding. Each meal was thoughtfully curated and prepared as well as being incredibly tasty. We very much appreciated the service that went along with the meals too. The chefs and the staff are clearly very committed to providing the best possible experience for guests during meal times. Bravo! The game drives were the absolute highlight of our stay. Damian is an exceptional guide - he is not only very knowledgeable, but he has a clear passion for conservation, the wildlife and the ecosystem. Damian offered incredible insight into the wildlife and was also very persistent in uncovering where the wildlife may be hiding (especially as we were there while it was pouring with rain). No request was too much, and no question was too silly. Each drive was unique and we saw something different each time. Also, a big thank you to Damian for getting us out of the reserve in time for our international flight - the rain had caused some difficulty with the roads but we managed to get to Johannesburg in time. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was completely luxurious, seamless and memorable. The team is committed to excellence and we cannot thank them enough for such a fantastic stay. Other luxury hotels etc. could learn a thing or two from the Babohi team. If anyone asks for recommendations in South Africa, I will point them in this direction.

Top class bush resort! Everything is 5 stars. Room spacious and well equipped. Luxury comfort. Staff very helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Game Drives and viewing exceptional!! Brilliant guide with impressive knowledge and information. Honestly best bush holiday ever.

Stunning view! House was perfect, clean and had all we needed. Ample space for a family of 8. Loved every moment. A lot of great activities in a close distance fom the lodge.

The location was perfect! Away from the crowds. Very quiet and private. The staff were amazing, so accommodating and chatty. Food and snacks were superb (thank you to the brilliant staff in the kitchen behind the scenes), we never went hungry! A nice touch was the evening animal stories that were printed out and laid on the beds with the chocolates on pillows. Enjoyed the stories.

Executive Suite was the delight . the showers & bathtub Perfect for a couple . The Stuff was very friendly and clued up with the place. the wild life roaming around The patio is reserved for the executive suite. I advise taking the exude suite

We had a wonderful stay, everything was perfect. We stayed at the Beehive Cabin which is approx 2km away from the main lodge. The cabin is very private, beds are comfortable, cozy interior, the outdoor area has a fire pit, hanging chairs to relax and two bathtubs. You’ll find everything in the kitchen if you feel like cooking, but we opted for the restaurant for dinner and breakfast which was just perfect. The staff is lovely and took good care of us. We went with the owner for an afternoon quad bike tour around the property and spotted many animals. Would definitely recommend to make this your next stay.
