We really enjoyed our stay in the Kamunjila Lodge. We used to swimming pool, had delicious breakfast and its not far from the center. I think it's a bit to expensive, but we had a good time and we would stay there again. The garden was absolutely beautiful, they had Mango trees and the room was also really spacious!

In a beautiful location next to the Zambezi river. Zebras and giraffes wandering the grounds. Hotel residents have free access to the national park where you can walk along a path with excellent view of Victoria falls. We stayed in February and the falls on the Zambia side were very impressive and although it was misty this didn’t obscure the views.

I was very happy I chose this lodge in a Nature Reserve a short distance from the center of Livingstone. With a herd of monkeys who were always curious and playful around the bungalow, and elephants in the immediate area. I really found harmony and contact with nature, and it was nice to be here instead of the center of Livingstone. There are big good quality mosquito nets in the bungalows and repelleant is sprayed before bedtime, so don't worry about mosquito bites at night. It is important to know that on the Zambian side of the border you have 2 unique attractions that you cannot find on the more visited Zimbabwean side: 1) The "microlight fly" (a motorized hangglider) experience over the Victoria Falls is what can only be described as truly breathtaking. The lodge is only a few hundred meters from the Batoka airstrip where you fly out to the Victora Falls and over the Zambezi River. 2) The "Devil's pool" where you get your amazing Instagram photos from the top edge of Victoria Falls. You absolutely must experience these 2 on the Zambian side - remember that you must have a visa on the Zimbabwean side, and you must have a multiple entry visa if you are going in and out of Zimbabwe more than once. The Zambian side is also much cheaper, especially on food and drinks, and feels even safer than the Zimbabwean side. There are many good reasons to spend a few days on Zambia's side, unlike what many tourists do - and it feels liberating. I have traveled 130+ countries, so I appreciate what's genuine. Darius (the owner) is a book of his own. You will not find a more nice and helpful person. He helps you with absolutely everything, and please start planning before your arrival, as some of the attractions and available times are sold out days in advance. He can also put together larger travel packages including safaris in Zambia and neighboring countries, both for single people and large groups.

Amazing staff that are always there to help you with anything! From organising activities, to getting taxi's or ordering food, they are always there to for you (even if there's a big spider in your room, Emmanuel is always there to chase all unwanted small visitors out!) I could not thank them enough for everything they did for us and how well they helped us settle. The rooms are spacious, with comfy beds, clean bathrooms and AC. The cleaners often offered to clean our room and change the bedding too. Our room also had a small fridge which was very good for keeping cool drinks and fruit. The lodge has mosquito nets on every window so we avoided getting bitten and no flies around either. All communal areas of the lodge were cleaned daily by staff. The lodge's location is perfect, a 15 or 20 minute drive from most of the activities and very close to Victoria Falls, just a short walk from the nearest bars and shopping centre. The place was very quiet and peaceful at all times, we really enjoyed sitting outside by the fountain, watching the fish and dragonflies, and resting after our activities. We both felt very welcome and the lodge was so nice that we extended our stay till the end of our holiday! The perfect place for a couple, an individual or a family. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a quiet lodge with welcoming staff, lovely surroundings and a good location.

I enjoyed Victoria falls and the Livingstone museum.

I enjoyed Victoria falls and the Livingstone museum. People were friendly and always willing to help. Zest bar and restaurant was the best place to eat as they have variety of cuisines, Zambian, Asian and Western cuisines. Was easy to get around the town especially using Yango taxis.

the obvious number one is Victoria Falls (Mosi Oa Tunya)

the obvious number one is Victoria Falls (Mosi Oa Tunya) reasonably priced entry fee $20 and a very special place. The Livingstone Museum great value $5 for about 4 hours of entertainment, history, nature, Plenty of shops, to meet all your needs, great value for money Taxi's....use the Yango app if you can variety of places to eat, all levels of cuisine, with larger than usual portions , JollyBoyz, Cafe Zambezi, Kubu Cafe, Maramba River Lodge, all places of note. Easy to book tours here I recommend Nick Travel and Tours, who took us on a day trip safari to Chobe NP in Botswana. Be aware if you are coming to see the wildlife, make sure you dont come in the rainy season, as all the Elephants move out to dryer areas like Southern Chobe. You can walk over the Bridge to Zimbabwe and get some great views from the bridge.

As it was the dry season, the falls were just a few streams, but still impressive. Apparently, March is the best time when they are in full flow. You can cross the bridge into the Zimbabwe side of the falls, there was more water there, but cost $50 each. So with a family of 5 & 32C we decided it was not worth it.
