Sam is a perfect host, who really cares. He made us feel welcome, helped with renting bicycles and even did a very nice bicycle tour with us. The location is perfect if you want to see the sacred city (15 minutes walk away) and feel like being in nature. It is also a very good starting point to do a bicycle tour to Mihintale (which was a great experience!) From the nice rooftop terrace you can see the sunset over the stupas. Thank you Sam for the wonderful time at your place ❤️

Everything was wonderful. Comfortable clean bed with mosquito nets. Nice clean bathroom. Wimal and his family put a lot of love into making sure everything is perfect. When we didn’t need dinner the first night he brought us tea and biscuits with bananas. Make sure that you eat there !!! Dinner and breakfast were amazing. The best food we have had in Sri Lanka. Even the fresh juice was the best mix. We would go back anytime.

We had a wonderful stay in Anuradhapura. The staff was very friendly and helped us arrange tuktuks to the old city and Mihintale, which were both easy to reach. We ate breakfast and dinner which were plenty and delicious! The swimming pool was beautiful and clean in a nice garden. The room was comfortable and very clean also, We would love to go back one day!

The staff really made our stay here memorable. They went above and beyond to make us as comfortable as possible. We didn’t dine out during our stay because the food prepared at the resort was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka! Furthermore, we received a steady supply of complimentary tea while relaxing at the pool and got detailed information about what to do in the area.
