Set on over 140 acres of native forest and boasting a private beach, Thala Beach Nature Reserve is an Eco-friendly wildlife retreat. This resort was Heaven on Earth. The staff went above and beyond and they were all super nice. The views from the restaurant and bar overlooking the Coral Sea were astonishing and so was the food. The natural swimming pools were a delight as well, but what really stood out beside the staff were the tours for guests only. I loved them all: the Nature Walking Tour with Brett, the Star Gazing tour with Rose, the Coconut Odissey tour with Geff and also the cultural presentation about the Kuku Yalanji. There is also a private beach for guests only and it was lovely to walk around the property and spotting birds, butterflies, plants and all that nature has to offer. If one does not want to walk there is a buggy service taking you around the resort 24/7 and reception is also open 24/7. There is even a Turtle Lookout to spot seaturtles. The bungalows with their porches overlooking either the sea or the forest were stunning and what I loved the most about this place was how the resort was the background of the surrounding nature and not the other way around.

Relax in this charming resort of spacious, self-contained holiday town houses, built around a free-form swimming pool, barbecue and entertainment area. The location is excellent, and the host is very proactive in providing travel information. The apartment is well-equipped, tidy, and clean. Although we arrived late, Andy kindly came out to greet us and proactively explained all the details, including how to park.

Offering luxurious villas with free WiFi, a private plunge pool and a patio with a BBQ, Niramaya Villas and Spa is just 10 minutes’ walk from Four Mile Beach. Truly a 10/10 resort experience. The resort itself is magnificent from the showers, to the private pool, to the indoor/outdoor fountains and flowers around your villa. The beds in the villas were extremely comfortable, the closets and amenities were very large, and the showers were extremely comfortable. We spent the majority of our time in the Villa just because of how magnificent it was. I would recommend anyone staying in Port Douglas to stay here, its the nicest resort I stayed in in my life and I was able to stay for $100 USD per night split across 5 people.

Just a 1 hour drive from international Cairns airport, Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Port Douglas boats a prime location as the only beachfront property to the Famous Four Mile Beach. Beautiful property and location.

Just 10 minutes’ walk from Four Mile Beach, Ramada Resort by Wyndham Port Douglas is set amongst rainforest gardens and features a tropical lagoon pool with a swim-up bar. Great position , rooms big and lovely and clean staff very helpful and friendly

Located in Port Douglas, Sea Temple Resort and Spa Port Douglas is located on four Mile Beach. Among the various facilities of this property are an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. This apartment is absolutely beautiful. It is really well equipped and my family and I had a wonderful stay here. The resort is beautiful as well.
