From the food service to guard they have been the most humble and always with the best smile on their faces. The rooms are spacious and neat. Love and the best experience. My first trip to India and I can say I ended it in the best way.

We originally booked for just one night but were so impressed with the service and atmosphere that we extended our stay by another day. This is a beautiful resort not too far from Kovalam Bay where you can catch a Sunset swim and the best view of the Arabian Sea. If you unable to get to the bay for Sunset, you have Amara for peace, tranquility and a sunrise every morning that takes your breath away. The valley is vast and the resort has been done in a way that you have elegant simple luxury that reminds you of nature, and how we can live mindfully. The pool is so lovely, the rooms are wonderful, the staff is incredible and the meals have been carefully planned around the Ayurveda clinic that has the most incredible doctor and therapists taking care of you. I highly recommend Amara. Thank you for taking care of me and my yoga queens.

Had a really great time at this place! The rooms were clean and well-equipped. There was a nice swimming pool and the spa services were really impressive! The place is really close to the beach, a very comfortable walk. The only thing I'll say is that there is only one nice restaurant to eat in the walkable vicinity. But if you can get an auto, there's a few nice places to go to. I want to especially mention Clint, the manager, who was lovely to talk to and really helpful. Unfortunately my son got hurt during the trip and he took him to the hospital.
