This 11th century Tuscan farmhouse is nestled in the beautiful Florentine hills, amongst private gardens where you can enjoy al fresco dining. All rooms offer air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Where to start?We loved everything.The rooms were spacious and very clean,smelled wonderful.The location is beautiful,the hotel is surrounded by forest,olive groves and a little water fall.The view from the room is stunning.Breakfast is delicious,fresh pastries and home made cakes(every day different types),eggs in any form.We dined in the restaurant for dinner several times,and really enjoyed trying different díshes and they all were delicious,I would say one of the best we tried in Tuscany.The staff were all very friendly and kind,patient with our kids.Thank you Silvia,Claudia,Marina,Giovanni and Sasha for being wonderful hosts.We hope to return one day and highly recommend the resort.

What a wonderful "find." Was looking for something in a quiet place – and we found it. Ilaria, the manager, was phenomenal. Not far from Florence (approx 50km,) if you want a day trip with more activities, but we were looking for quiet after being in Florence. . Ilaria helped us find restaurants for dinner and even helped us when we had a car mishap. We will go there again. Especially now that we know our way in and out of all the local areas. 😉

Absolutely beautiful in every way. A stunning and peaceful location in the Tuscan hills, beautifully maintained, very nice staff. Even though a resort, it's more like a small secluded village - with an incredibly stunning view. We even found some porcini in the woods around the place. If you're looking for a romantic getaway - this is the place. We're already planning our next trip to Il Torrino :-)
