You simply must eat here in the evening, the food was the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka and generous portions. We saw a wine store as we drove in ( less than 5 mins drive for those interested), when we asked about available drinks the manager offered to drive and get what we wanted. Breakfast was lovely and they even bought a fridge to our room for us to use. There are sun beds and tables and chairs in the grounds so we spent the evening sitting out watching the sun go down over the paddy fields, simply beautiful. If you are looking for somewhere fabulous to stay between Negombo and Sigiria. Look no further. You won’t find better.

The staff was incredibly nice and went above and beyond to help us out. They even took us on a tour of the gardens and property as we wanted to learn more about local plants. The place was absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. Definitely a must for people seeking to relax. Lastly, the food was delicious too! I'll definitely try to be back as soon as I can!

I arrived very late as our tuk-tuk broke down, but they cooked an extra diner for me. They also organized a transport to Maho station the early next morning.
