We really enjoyed our stay thanks to the attention and care given by Mr. Majith and other staff members: kind, available and anticipating any needs (despite we were with kids!). Breakfast was also exceptional along with the view. My kids enjoyed the Jacuzzi as well. Unfortunately our schedule was quite busy and we couldn’t enjoy the pool and its fantastic view.

Perfektní ubytování. Zejména péče personálu. Jeli jsme zdaleka, počkali na nás, pozdní check-in nebyl problém, dokonce pro nás do centra poslali pozdě v noci tuk-tuk, abychom se v pořádku dostali na místo. Ráno nás čekala úžasná snídaně, pomohli nám sehnat spoj na vlak apod. Z ubytování byly nádherné výhledy! :)

From the wonderful staff who were very welcoming and gave us a tour of the plantations, to the infinity pool with a lovely view, its own waterfall, and delicious food – everything was perfect. We stayed in the pavilions, where you feel fully immersed in nature. It was clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Visiting Ella and staying in this homestay just outside the city centre was the highlight of my recent trip to Sri Lanka. The accommodation represents excellent value for money and was more than adequate for the time I spent there. The room was large in size and the homestay in general was built to what I thought was a high level of quality with very high ceilings and lots of wood used throughout the building. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was designed to a high standard. This was easily one of the best examples of a homestay I say anywhere in Sri Lanka. What I found really excellent about this place was the staff, Over the several days I spent at this homestay I got to know Pasindu and Noman and given the excellent rapport I got with these guys I decided to do Wild Steps tour with Pasindu, which was basically a motorbike tour to all the major sites for one day, which I left all the travel planning and guiding to Pasindu. I also was easily convinced on my last night to take part in a Sri Lankan cooking class at the homestay with Noman and Pasindu which gave me a great deal of insight of how to make Sri Lankan food. This involved going to the local market and buying a bunch of ingredients and then coming back to the homestay and making a feast. Both activities were absolutely fantastic! What I can't express enough is what legends both of these guys were and how excellent this accommodation was. In hindsight if I planned my itinerary again I probably would have skipped the rest of my trip going down to the coast (Tangelle, Merissa and Galle) and would have spent the time in Ella, backtracking back to Colombo via Kandy and spending more time in the cultural triangle.

We visited Sri Lanka for vacation and stayed one night at the Presidential Suite at Andriyala. I have stayed in many hotels, but this was by far the most beautiful hotel room I have ever seen in Sri Lanka. The suite was spacious, spotless, and offered stunning views. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Everything about our stay felt worth it ,from the comfort of the room to the overall atmosphere of the hotel. I highly recommend Andriyala to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Sri Lanka.
