The place is.really amazing.The room nice and comfortable,.we enjoyed swimming and relaxing beside the river, the breakfast was excellent and the owner so kind and helpful.He arranged a safari for us which was amazing and gave us bicycles to go around..Wish we could stay more.

It’s very calm, peaceful, in the nature and the staff was extremely nice! They served us with very tasty food and woke up at 5 to prepare us breakfast for safari.

Offering a barbecue and views of the garden, green view safari resort is located 8 km from Udawalawe National Park. We have been to a number of very good family run b&bs throughout Ceylon. All of them good. But this one deserves a 10 because the owners really put a lot of effort in making clients happy. The dinner and breakfast was excellent and the safari tour organized by them also. The driver was very experienced and went through roads outside the beaten path to find animals which in this season are hiding and difficult to find. Great. The room was very clean, aircon worked well, mosquito nets etc. Just one tip: europeans like their breakfast with coffee or tea served together with food. After only for lunch and dinner.

The place is totally lovey, nicely decorated, well maintained, spacious rooms, the shower is just supercool. The place is at a nice quiet area but close to everything. We had some difficulty on our way and arrived after check-in hours. We managed to call the owner and he was soo helpful, they even put aside a superb dinner even we arrived after the the kitchen was closed. The staff and the manager were also very friendly and helpful. We would certainly will come back to this place when around. Totally recommended. We went on a safari arranged by the hotel, the pricing was good and the cars were in great condition. We went on 3 hours and that was good for us. (tip: ask a car with armholders at the seats - we happened to have one and just realized how comfy it comes at bumpy roads in the park :)) Wish we could stay longer.

Smeštajni objekat The Castle Safari Cottage nudi bazen na otvorenom, vrt, terasu i bar u gradu Udavalave. Lovely cottage surrounded by nature. The room was spacious and very clean. We booked a safari with them and everything was just perfect! The owner and the staff are amazing, super friendly and kind. Definitely recommended!

My experience at Dhalaya Resort in the Udawalawe area was wonderful in every way! The location is characterized by stunning natural beauty, surrounded by breathtaking views that captivate the heart. The gardens of the resort are incredibly beautiful, filled with diverse trees and plants that create an atmosphere of tranquility and serenity. The service was highly professional, with staff always being warm and welcoming. The rooms were clean and impeccably arranged, adding a touch of comfort. The resort also offers a variety of recreational activities, such as safari trips to explore the wildlife. The hotel provides meals and drinks that guests can take with them on their safari trips. The restaurant serves delicious dishes that showcase the authentic flavors of Sri Lanka in a delightful way. I would like to thank the reception staff, especially the young lady Dilmi, for their kind welcome. I also extend my gratitude to the staff member Lakman for his professional service and room preparation. I cannot forget the lovely young lady in the restaurant, the amazing chef, and the restaurant manager David, who provided an exceptional experience in presenting the delicious Sri Lankan dishes. We stayed at Chill House Safari resort and also did the safari with our host, Hashan. Our room and bathroom were clean and equipped with everything we needed. The location was peaceful and surrounded by trees and wildlife while still close by the main road. We decided to have one meal at the accommodation and Hashan went out to find all the specific ingredients to make polos, which we really wanted to try. It was delicious!😋His wife and son were also very nice and always around. Our safari tour with the family went great too! It’s totally worth it. We saw quite a lot of elephants and many other animals in the park. Hashan really knows his way around well and is great at spotting anyone hiding in the bushes or trees. He also answered all of our questions about the different species. Overall, we recommend the whole experience offered at Chill House Safari Resort!❣️
