Jem was the best! She took very good care of me in the short time I spent on Samal Island and encouraged me to try many activities. Had a great time snorkelling (sooo many corals and fishes!) and kayaking too. Also a great cook and gave many good recommendations for things to do at Samal Island. As someone who has never stepped foot on Philippines / Samal Island, I also appreciate the very detailed explanation that was given on how to get from Davao Airport to the resort prior to the trip.

Dave whole drove us a few times was wonderful, charming and was able to find a connection with us. The FBM went out of his way to find me something that wasn't on the menu (vegetarian option) the night prior. Wonderful place

Chema’s is a great place to stay most especially if you want to feel relaxed and wanted to take a break from hustle and buzzle of everyday life. It was worth the experience. The area is popular for cycling, and car hire is available at the resort. We rented a villa and it was a good option for a group. I liked the pool and the activities, ATV cars ride was so fun and challenging. Kids enjoyed the rainbow slide.
