Very comfortable and clean room, very close to Himare oldtown/castle. Our host was super friendly and made very tasty breakfast in the morning.

Our host was só wonderful. Fresh and different home made breakfast (including beignets and the best figs I ever had), everything was super clean, AC and refrigerator was nice for cooling off and we got some great dinner recommendations. 10/10, if we ever come back to Himare I'll be sure to book again 🫶

We stayed here for one night and had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent, and the view from the front balcony is truly beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was superb—definitely a highlight of our stay. The only small challenge was parking near the accommodation, but I would recommend leaving your car at the Castle parking, which is much more convenient.

Friendly host speaking perfect english and happy to elaborate about Albania, the Himare area and its history. Sharing suggestions for a day trip if you are fed up with the coast. very nice breakfast. Advice: follow the indications shared to find it.

Amazing host, amazing location, and the breakfast is great

The room was very nice and spacious. The view of the mountains from the window was amazing. It was so quite and relaxing. The breakfast surprisingly was very good. It is the perfect place for chilling far from the noise of the center.

If for nothing else, I would choose this place again for the host, who was very kind and friendly. His breakfasts were amazing, homemade fresh litlle miracles, best coffee outside of Tirana (and second best I had in Albania), altogether an awesome experience. The village is quite and calm, the castle has beautiful views and I loved spending time there.

We had an excellent stay at this property! The rooms were spotless and well-kept, providing a very comfortable experience. Having onsite parking was a huge convenience as well. The breakfast was also a highlight, offering a good variety of fresh and tasty options, different each morning. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay with great amenities, and I highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed my stay in this beautiful guesthouse, nice cozy room, within walking distance of this ancient castle. I read the reviews about the breakfast and indeed it was amazing with fresh products prepared by the host. I really recommend this guesthouse to everyone!

Do to off season not too many options for restaurants, most of them were closed.

We experienced better accomodation for this price in Albania. It’s a little bit overpriced.

Lovely place situated right next to Himare castle which is a must see. Beautiful beach options are within a short driving distance. The owner prepared a delicious and unique breakfast option each morning and gave us his homemade fig jam which is delicious!

- The beds are comfortable and it’s very quiet at night. - The facilities were very clean. - You can park close to the apartment. - There’s freshly cooked breakfast every morning, the amount and quality is good. (It’s mostly creative varieties of pancake. I personally prefer healthier ways to start my day.) - We were allowed to use the next door laundry room for free. - The helpful landlord recommended a very nice boat tour to us and inspired us to rent a Kajak at Jale Beach. - Our stay was reasonably priced for the Himare region.

it’s located a bit out of the way. You have to drive about 10 mins to reach the next beach. Since it’s not easy to find parking in the whole region, you better be there in time. Same goes if you want to eat dinner, shop groceries, … Knowing Himare now, we'd stay closer to Jale Beach or the city center to reduce the quite stressful search for parking space. Our room was in the basement without windows or natural daylight. I probably read the description sloppily, but we weren't aware of that. Whenever we got home it smelled like a cellar had to be aired first. Therefore we often had mosquitos and flies in our room.

Very comfortable and in a great location. Lovely and peaceful and breakfast was varied and tasty every day. Issues during our stay were dealt with quickly and our the owner was really helpful with recommendations and made us feel very welcome
