Reviews of Puerto Limon Hostel

I loved Puerto Limon, is everything you would like to have as a traveler, big room with good bed, lighting and bathroom, combined with a good location, also staff very friendly. The place has a good vibe.

Everything was perfect

Place super clean, new and clean sheets. People who go there are nice and normal travelers.

Well located and close to many of the main tourist attractions

The kitchen is very poorly staffed. And what is in there is falling out in pieces, people steal your food from the fridge and the bedrooms have some bits of mold.

Friendly staff, it felt safe, room was clean, hot shower, comfortable bed. The location was amazing - lovely area of San Telmo, with plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and the markets within short walking distance. A bit noisy at night from other guests, but it seems like a great hostel for the price.

Unfortunately our private room was very damp (I think this was due to the heavy rain). HOWEVER the staff/management were very accommodating and moved us as soon as we let them know, so I cannot fault them at all. Thank you again!

Many time i stay here. Safety is safe many cameras inside. Fresh air in rooms. And good community #cerebrolog likes this place ))

The place is full of abusive people “clochard type”drinking alcohol, screaming like wild animals and using illegal substances according to the Argentinian government all the time until late hours. Asked the receptionist on duty on 15/09 to make this stop and she got hysterical. Disgusting place overall

The cleaning staff was attentive

There was no functioning pose machine for international bank cards and the reception woman tried to request your cards info, which was absurd. If you pay with your greenbacks, they could hardly get the exact change for you.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. It’s in a great location and very walkable. The bed was comfortable. The place was clean and nice to stay in. We arrived very late and the staff were very accommodating with letting us check in around 2:30am.

Too lack of glass dishes in the kitchen . We need more inoxidable iron pods )).

The clean and tidy rooms. The people were super cool also.

I would like to find at least liquid soap in the bathroom. Maybe a towel... But I think maybe to maintain the cost low it's okish

Is a fair relationship between the price and what’s offered. The location is good and near places of interest like downtown, puerto madero, recoleta among others.

If you stay in the 3rd floor you will have to carry the bags by stairs. There are not elevator s. There could be some noice from the street but nothing that bad at all. There are smoking areas inside the building that are not enclosed and smoke smell is constant, it could be annoying for some one that doesn’t smoke. The rooms need some renovations, there was some humidity in the walls, and the doors key locks system is old so is tricky to open and lock the doors. The hostel only sell coffee and some soft drinks, but for that they only receive cash not cards.

I got stolen a few times, like my earphones and other things. Place is good but I recommend don’t let never anything at sight of the people.

Comfortable beds, personal locker available in the room. Power outlets and night light next to the bed. Generally clean and quiet.

Toilet paper was only replenished sporadically. The kitchen was closed for a period in the morning for cleaning.
