Many steps to reach this secluded apartment, but it was worth the effort.

This unique, private apartment was large, modern, and comfortable. It had a separate living room, with a fully equipped kitchen and a full sized fridge. The outside patio was a gem where we enjoyed breakfasts and before dinner snacks. Birgit, the owner was also helpful and met us upon arrival. The apartment was located on a quiet square with quality restaurants. Be sure to try the family owned Gasthaus Jell Weinhaus on the square, where the food was delicious. The apartment was within easy walking distance to the town center. We hired bicycles and took the ferry from Krems to Melk and then rode back to Krems. We had a fabulous stay.

The place & the apartment are just perfect! It is located in the heart of the beautiful city. The apartment is very nice, it has everything you need including beautiful terrace with a nice view.

Many stairs to apartment a problem with heavy suitcase, as previously mentioned by others. Sleeping on couch reduced living area considerably but not a huge issue. Unable to darken couch area with skylights & rooftop door having no curtains, luckily had eye cover for excluding early daylight. Not an apartment issue but could be difficult accessing the location by road because of one way streets and roadworks.
