Pillows were a bit flat, but that's very typical in the Alps.

Location and views were superb, the breakfast in the neighbouring hotel was absolutely excellent. Rooms was huge, and the balcony provided a great view.

This has been the fourth time I've stayed at Obwexer. Always a pleasure with a fantastic breakfast served at the hotel across the road.

We like a firm bed which this wasn't. Pillows were a waste of time.

The location was excellent. Breakfast was taken at another hotel, we left breakfast until late and not everything was available, what was was delicious. Service was excellent throughout. Parking was simple. Whilst we attempted to speak German, everyone was helpful and spoke English when we didn't understand.

Would have been nice to have some water in the room

Properly located right at the center of town , close to everything and to the ski / hike shuttle stop . Everything is sparkling clean in the room !! The owner is wonderful just simply amazing! Breakfast was served at the hotel across and was also great ! We had stayed at a different hotel the night before and this gasthaus was just soooo much better than the hotel , we highly recommend it !!!!

The elevator was really small.

The hosts were friendly Central location, with restaurants close by. Nice porch, where you can enjoy the view. The breakfast was in a neighbor hotel and was great.

Breakfast is in another hotel (2 min walk), and it wasn't good at all. There were a lot of people and even so we came quite early some plates were empty and not refilled with food. The choice in general is poor, apart from that, you need to boil eggs yourself and cut vegetables yourself. The bed is not comfortable. It is very soft and low and making sounds everytime you move

The location is good, big parking near guesthouse. In general, the room is renovated, the bathroom is modern, and the room has everything you need.

Everything was perfect.

Gästehaus Obwexer is located in a nice small town in the Austrian Tirol. The room we got was fantastic....it was actually a studio, with a complete kitchen and a small living room separated from the bedroom and bathroom. Excellent wifi. The breakfast was served in the restaurant crossing the street and was really very good, with excellent quality products. The place has a free parking slot by its side. I recommend it enthusiastically.

We were in an apartment and it was an extra 18 Euros per person per day for the breakfast which we thought was a bit expensive.

Breakfast was in a hotel accross the road. There was an excellent choice.

Liked things just as they were.

The breakfast was excellent and walking across the street took no longer than going from a room in the hotel to the dining room. The room was spacious and comfortable; it obviously had recently been renovated. The owner was very nice and made us feel welcome.

This isn’t the fault of the guesthouse but we felt like Matrei itself didn’t offer much to do in the town and it was fairly difficult to find somewhere to go for dinner.

We booked this guesthouse on the day of our stay after some other accommodation fell through and were really pleasantly surprised! Staff were welcoming, room was huge and had a balcony and breakfast (served at a hotel over the road) was delicious.

Internet connection is pretty slow.

Perfect location right in front on the Tourism office and with free parking. There are a lot of good restaurants that are to choose from this unit and the host provided us with a list of those good restaurants. Amazing breakfast, will surely return to this unit just for the breakfast =)

Unfortunately the pillow was too soft for me, but otherwise I think the place and services worth the price.

The breakfast was excellent and plenty. I had many choices, e.g., scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, different sausages and different type of cheese. Also there were many type of breads. It was a good breakfast before a day of ice climbing.

A hotel that was actually open on the day we had booked and paid for our room would have been a good start.

After paying in full for our room via Booking.com, when we arrived at the hotel it was closed. A person who was at the property simply said they were closed and pretty much sent us on our way.

For the price everything was good. No complaints, for the same price I would happily stay here again.

Location was good The room was comfortable, I got exactly what i paid for. Breakfast was top notch. Communication was very good by the property as I arrived late, so I had no issues getting the keys
