We spent five wonderful days in the Rosa Linde - „Wittgenstein” double room. The apartment is located on a quiet street and has the charm of a traditional Viennese residence, with high ceilings that create a sense of space and elegance. At the same time, it is warm, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The location is excellent — just a short walk from the city center. The walk itself is a real pleasure, as most of the route goes through pedestrian areas where you can admire Vienna’s beautiful architecture. Karl is a fantastic host — always available, kind, and helpful. He provided us with detailed information and recommendations that made our stay in Vienna even more enjoyable. For our next visit to Vienna, we will definitely choose Rosa Linde again.

prior to the check in date Karl made sure to contact us and give us all the information to insure a smooth check in and stay. The location is superb, we literally walked everywhere, the neighbourhood is pleasant with excellent restaurants and shops nearby. The room and entire facility were clean and pleasant, meeting all of our needs and making sure we feel comfortable.

Nothing wrong with their room.

Great location for transportation, quiet neighbourhood,extra toilet to use, a kitchen that has coffee,tea, a fridge and crockery with cutlery to use. Karl and Erich are amazing hosts. Friendly and helpful. Great communication with their clients and quick response when we needed some help. The room even has a desk if you need to work remotely.

Honestly, I can’t think of a single downside. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at this room in Vienna! The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city and very easy to reach. The apartment itself was spotless (and I’m extremely picky about cleanliness), which made me feel immediately comfortable. Communication was smooth and quick, and Karl was very kind, even waiting for me upon arrival. The apartment was thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed—different teas, coffee, a fridge, hair dryer, umbrellas and more.

The only thing was that the bathroom bin was too small and thus full in a day. The towels were worn out and they smelled awful after the first use. The owner entered the room without asking first in order to get a form we had to fill in, I would rather have given it to him in person.

It is exactly as shown in pictures. Beautiful building on the outside and inside. Very good location with metro and tram being super close. Also it is 2 min walk from a street full of stores and restaurants. The owner was really helpful and kind when communicating. There is a common space where you have coffee/tea or use the fridge.

A wonderful place to stay, and fantastic communication from Karl. The high ceilings and the big space made the room feel almost meditative, and going into the lovely bathroom every morning I almost thought I was still dreaming. We wished we'd been able to stay longer – both to see more of Vienna and to meet Karl in person. Unfortunately, we missed each other because of our timings but we hope to come back and set that right!

The pillows were too soft - we still slept good, and everything else was good! Be aware that the bathroom is separated from the bedroom by a simple sliding glass door - so limited privacy but for couple it should be fine!

Perfectly clean room, quiet and very well located. Everything is reachable by foot and there are tons of coffee shops, restaurants and shops around. You're also in walking distance from the Mariahilferstrasse, one of the main shopping streets, and from the old city center.

I stayed in a lot of accomodation in Vienna but this one was far the best apartment. Location, cleanlines, ammenities... just perfect. I recommend it for exploring the city.

Cozy and large room. Coffee included, access to fridge just outside and luggage storage without hassle. Well informed pre checkin.

The double bed was comfy, just a slightly larger bed would have been nicer.

Modern decor in a period room that worked well. Great shower and tea/coffee making facilities were provided and we had use of a fridge which was useful in the hot weather. The hosts were friendly and helpful in helping us plan our exploration of the heuriger.

One of the best locations in Vienna near Mariahilfer Straße. Staff was very helpful. It was very quite and we really enjoyed our stay a lot.
