Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

DenmarkA dodgy neighborhood. Difficult to figure out where you can park. Using too much detergent for the bedding (not allergy friendly). Neighbors smoke often and the smell drifts into the apartment. Too soft beds.
Spacious. Well equipped kitchen. Close to supermarket.

SingaporeFrom the map it's quite close to the main station, however, it's quite hard to find and still need to walk a long distant.
The room size is quite good, and is quite good for whole family's visit.

HungaryBahnhof - Train Station is about 20 Minutes' walk. Free Parking only from 6 pm-8 am, still includes a drive around the blocks. Contactless check-in. the owner requests a phone call for check in instructions. Chack in after 5 pm. I assume for the free parking situation after 6 pm. If you do not have local phone, it could be tricky. Then you do not get the promised code to access the unit, only to see that someone from the same Block, buzzes you in through the block's telecom. I assume the owner either lives there or is in the apartments and lets you in. Though he does not show for the check-in form or collect the tourist tax. Once he knows your phone nr immediately starts a WhatsApp chat with you or a phone messaging, avoiding booking.com chat line. I did not engage in such conversations. The owner then insisted on coming up to the apartment, the next day. The owner, wanted to collect the check-in form the next day with the tourist tax in cash. First, I agreed, then I refused the meet up because I had an appointment elsewhere. and did not want any stranger - "guy" - "man" to come up to the apartment when my 18 years old daughter was there, alone. Then the owner threatened us if I do not give him his money (36 Euros) and form on the agreed time I have to leave the apartment. The owner did not show up at the check-in, though he was there, because he buzzed us in through the telecom system, and he said he was kind enough to let us in without collecting the forms and money. Very unpleasant situation. I paid upfront but would not do it ever again. Very strange how private owners want to come up and check on you. Luckily my husband made it back to give him his money and Form.
Spacious enough for three guests. Modern unit, though in an old Block level 7 with lift. Comfortable beds. 2 bedrooms, one opens from the other one. Fridge full of drinks, bier, water for purchase and you also could buy Nespresso capsules. There was a washing machine too. No detergents though.

Australia1. We asked if we could check in early and the host wanted an extra 20 euro - we have been travelling since 1/3/25, have asked many times whether we could check in early and nearly always we have been allowed to do so AT NO EXTRA COST; 2. The host did not give us the check-in information until after check-in time (5.11pm) and kept us waiting in the hot sun while my husband tried to call and message him, MULTIPLE TIMES; 3. The apartment was advertised as an air-conditioned 2 bedroom apartment, but there is NO AIR CONDITIONING and the second bedroom was locked! 4. The microwave was dirty (had not been cleaned) & there was an opened bottle of water in the fridge which makes one think the apartment had not been cleaned properly.
While we appreciated that there was a washing machine (& washing powder) & a coffee machine, it was disappointing to have to pay for the coffee pods. (We have been travelling since 1/3/25 & this is the FIRST time we have been asked to pay for coffee pods...)

UkraineThe apartment has absolutely everything you need. The location isn't in the center, but it's very close, and the best part is that there are plenty of parking spaces around free of charge — we easily found one nearby even on a Sunday evening. It's a nice touch that there are some pizzas and drinks in the fridge—not for free, but very convenient. The apartment was clean and the furniture comfortable. Highly recommnded!

United KingdomWe booked a two-bedroom apartment, as clearly advertised. 3 hours before our check-in time, the owner contacted us via WhatsApp—not through Booking.com’s messaging system—to tell us we wouldn’t be allowed to use both bedrooms. This restriction was never mentioned to us before. We found this both unprofessional and concerning, so we chose not to stay. Disappointing experience overall, and communication should have been handled properly through official channels. We booked this property based on its great reviews and clear listing of a two-bedroom apartment. This was surprising, especially given the consistently positive reviews. We ended up not staying, as this restriction didn’t align with what we booked. Disappointing and confusing overall. Waiting for booking.com to have the problem solved.

FranceWe saw the announce through booking and we've already paid for the stay for 1 night. After the payment, they did not send us any information or intrusion to get inside the apartment, then when we came, we tried contacting them but nobody answered, we had to book another stay and the fact that booking another place at that time was also a huge problem for us, we had to drive around 40km that we could find another one. We were still kind enough for patiently asking them the day after, all we wanted is to receive back the payment that we paid for nothing, it's all because of them, to received the payment and did nothing. They denied to refund us the payment and their excuse is that because we came late and they couldn't wake up that time to welcome us. ? That's why they should put the key somewhere or even just send us any intrusion after the payment, or if they couldn't stay up late, they shouldn't make their announcement also at that time through booking. They literally sent us NOTHING, even us have to contact them first and they refused the call, then they don't want to pay back the money even we could not get inside the house, there was NO KEY. Also for their attitude and behavior when we tried to work with them for their problems, they totally get us mad and this place is a scam, just don't come here.
