Good size room and a comfy bed

Accommodation was pretty central to everything and good cafes and restaurants nearby, room was clean and bed super comfy, so we enjoyed our time in Cairns.

Nothing

A pleasant surprise to have staff clean our room each day and replenish tea/coffee and provide fresh towels. Location was within a 20min walk to the main Esplanade and 15 mins drive from airport. Excellent liquor and take away choices

Not enough utensils to prepare a meal - had an old electric hot plate, one small pot and nothing to use to cook or heat using the microwave.

No problems

Decent-sized room with fridge and basic amenities. Friendly check-in staff.

No lift, so getting heavy bags upstairs was a bit of a workout. Location is okay but a bit of a walk from the main shops/restaurants.

Aspect Central is a motel on a main road but it is quiet at night. The staff are lovely. It’s a twenty minute walk into town but it’s flat and easy. There are plenty of shops and places to eat nearby. Next door is an excellent curry house called Tandoori Nights. I ordered a chicken byriani and there was enough two people. Cairns is hot and laid back with a brilliant pool on the seafront called the Esplanade Lagoon.

If you are a solo traveller it’s worth paying a bit more for a three-times larger room upstairs. The single room was very small and no real window. I upgraded for just a few dollars more.

Reasonably close to airport

Having a disability, I was not offered a ground floor.nothing special and staff member was grumpy and bothered when ask for service

Very much a "you get what you pay for" situation. Room was aged, but neat and comfortable enough. Bathroom had a fair bit of mould, could do with a clean. Flyscreen door did not lock, and the wooden door latch was broken, so did not feel very secure. Very limited parking, and very oddly shaped car parks.

Close to airport, easy check in check out, comfortable

Rooms slightly less nice looking in person compared to in photos but its still a good choice 👌

Security gates - there was a disturbance close by but knowing the gates were closed made me feel safe

- very musty smell - not enough parking - pools location made it uncomfortable to access - big restuarant windows right next to pool - being on Sheridan St and very close to the hospital it was very noisy

Well position in Cairns for our needs

Good location. Good value for money. Helpful receptionist. The kitchenette is well equipped. Great shower. Beds are comfortable.
