How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We arrived at about 3pm on Sunday and there was no staff on site, saying that the instructions for locating the key to the appartment, instructions for the car park, wifi ect were clear and easy to understand.
Plenty of room in the 3 bed apartment for 6 adults, the apartment was clean and well maintained, the location was great, just a couple of minutes walk to everything. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Everything was great!
The accomodation was spacious and very clean. Had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Close to town so we could walk to the supermarket. We easily walked to some beautiful nearby beaches and Belongil beach is just to the back of the property.

Spa could of been cleaner and filled with more water. Water wasn't covering the jets.
The property was clean, bedrooms were spaced out well and the kitchen was stocked with good household items so when you didn't feel like going out, you could cook.

There was a little bit of road noise as our apartment was closer to the main road. We did get used to it though.
We loved the location with a beautiful beach just steps away but also a very short walk to the heart of Byron. The apartment was sparkling clean and had everything we needed to make our 6 month stay comfortable.

The parking spaces are a bit tight! Had to try really hard not to crash into a wall or car.
The apartment was amazing. I was there to surf and I loved soaking my tired body in either the spa or my bath between surfs. The washing machine and dryer were also very handy because I go through so many towels and bathing suits. The kitchen was well equipped. I was travelling on my own, but could imagine my partner and kids having a great time at this accommodation

Getting out of the apartment car park.the crossover is too steep and always hit the bottom of the car bumper on the road.

The upstairs bedroom is not enclosed, as in it doesn't have walls and thus is open to the downstairs. It's cool, but lacks privacy. Another thing is that their was heating, but cooling was only ceiling fans, which were enough for downstairs, but the upstairs "open" bedroom was cooking in the nook of the roof without means to cool it.
Great apartment for the cost. Spacious, well equipped and clean. In the enclosed courtyard there is a pool and spa bath. You're also a 10-minute walk away from the city centre with a lot of options for restaurants and plenty of shopping. Within a 5 minute drive there are the supermarkets.

Staff were friendly, helpful and repsonded quickly when needed. Location was great, an easy stroll with the kids to the shops and beach! The accomodatikn and facilities were clean and had everything we needed to prepare food for our stay. Highly recommend!

The windows for the bedroom are looking outside the front, privacy is limited.
Very close to town and Main Beach. Facilities are all complete and has seasonings. Bed and couch are comfortable alongside the dining table.

Open second story hallway overlooking kiitchen was a bit tricky to manage with 6 year old twins who realised they could throw things over it. In hindsight single story may have been better for us to choose. Unit nonetheless very nice.

The gardens were beautiful. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and well set out.Liked the option of using the fans in the rooms rather than aircon. Just one suggestion, although it may have just been excitement when we arrived as the unit was much more than we expected is putting things back where they came from (remotes ect.). I am hoping we did okay. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
