Hosts were very helpful and skilled in operating a great buisness. They couldn't do enough to please us all. Rooms were kept immaculate and cleaned daily. Ideal spot very close to centre and places to visit.

It was so central to the main square and menin gate, and the house was so elegant with a beautiful entrance lobby and outside terrace. Our room was a good size just what we needed. The owner’s family had lived there for generations so had a good knowledge of local history.

The only negative is that the stairs are very steep.

We only had two nights In Ypres but picked the perfect place to stay. The Property is in the centre of the town, ideal for site seeing. Both Steven and Katrine were perfect hosts. Steven gave us plenty of information about places to visit with the help of his many books. The room was clean, tidy and had every thing needed. Breakfast was beautifully prepared by Steven and Katrine with fresh bread, pastries, meats and cheeses. They even offered to cook eggs for us.

The room was a bit hot on the first night due to the heatwave although the fan did help.

You can park outside and the hosts will provide you will a parking disc but limited to 3 hours. To be fair though free parking is only a 5 minute walk away so this wasn't a major issue.

A fabulous home in the perfect location. Hosts Steven and Kathryn were wonderful. Extremely helpful and gave us all the information needed to a fantastic stay. Beautifully decorated house with comfortable rooms.

Katherine and Stephen were the perfect hosts. The room was huge with character throughout and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choices both hot and cold. Our hosts were most helpful, in regards to advising where to visit and where to eat.

The location is that of a beautiful period house. It is situated close to the centre of Ypres, within easy walking distance of the Menine Gate and the town centre.

Beautiful house in beautiful surroundings. The hosts were brilliant and they even let me tuck my motorbike in there garage for 3 nights at no cost. Breakfast was lovely too. Would definitely stay again.

Katrien and Steven are fantastic hosts and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I couldn’t have asked for anything more from my experience. The property is beautiful, steeped in family history, and the location couldn’t be better. Breakfast was very generous as well.

No complaints at all but the open bathrooms won't be to everyone's taste - ours was screened off and was no problem for us but some people might find that a little off-putting.

A very warm welcome from Katrien who served an excellent and generous breakfast and was helpful in offering local advice. A very central location .

Our hosts were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, great selection of foods. The room was beautiful, beds and pillows very comfortable. Great location, able to walk everywhere. Will definitely come back.

There isn't anything I would change about this accommodation.

The hosts were excellent. Very helpful for planning my days and recommending things to see and do. The room was large, very comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean. The bnb is only five minutes walk from historical downtown, restaurants and museums but I never felt unsafe even walking after dark.

This is a very lovely Bed and Breakfast. It is elegant but at the same time cosy and comfortable. The hosts were extremely helpful with tips on what to see and where to have dinner in the area. The location is excellent, central to many of the main sights. We had a very enjoyable stay.

At first, I thought it might be noisy in this front facing room as there were several conversations in the street - but it was quiet at night. Also, there was no TV, but that too was not to dislike. Good WiFi meant i could access news etc should I wish.

Very hospitable in the truest meaning of the word. Easy to find, short walk to everything. Comfortable & quiet at night.

Beautiful Flemish town house in the centre of Ypres. Lovely room and the owners were both welcoming and extremely helpful. Very good breakfast served in a beautiful dining room. What’s not to like.
