A small hotel just off of the main square, but, a hidden gem. The room was spacious and very well laid out with coffee machine as well as a kettle. The bathroom was a modern design and was a good use of the available space. Parking needs to be pre booked as limited availability, but only 4 rooms, ample enough.

The property is perfectly positioned for anyone interested in battlefield tours. It walking distance to all the major sites. The room was clean and comfortable and the host was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Absolutely nothing

First class hotel, room finished to exceptionally high standard and was spotlessly clean. Bed very comfortable as were the pillows and hot , powerful shower and Japanese toilet! Lots of information available in reception, with many local restaurant's near by for evening meal. Breakfast was first class and catered for every taste. We could not fault this hotel and would stay here again with no hesitation. Added bonus of being able to book paring was very welcome.

Exceptional B&B, hostess offers many amenities. Loved the "Smart Toilet." Breakast offered many items as well as freshly cooked pancakes and eggs.

What's not to like? Urban mansion-like property, all the mod cons, spacious and quiet rooms, great beds ( size and quality), modern bathroom, superb breakfast and fab host. We'll be back.

From the moment we walked in the doors of St. Georges IV we were made to feel so incredibly welcome. Veerle is a lovely host and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. I had been to Ypres once before 22 years ago and fell in love with it all over this time — in part because of our stay at St. Georges IV. You can’t beat the location. We stayed in The View room and it definitely lived up to its name — so special! There were so many thoughtful touches in our room and we appreciated every one of them. Thank you for making my return trip and my husband’s first time in Ypres so memorable. Will recommend this hotel to everyone we know travelling to Ypres. Thank you. ❤️

There was little I would change, it would be tweaks, as in the automatic bathroom light, fab idea but too bright when early hours visit to the bathroom.

Everything, the hotel was stunning and Veerle should take great pride in what she has achieved. It was a pleasure to stay in her home.

The only negative was there not being any parking. I parked in the 24 hour public parking open area two blocks away and still got a parking ticket somehow.

To summarize my experience: Great property, great staff, incredible location, and an all around positive memory. I would recommend the property to anyone traveling in the Flanders area.

Everything was simply perfect from arrival to departure. In 3 weeks of traveling around this is the first place I have given full marks to. Breakfast was lovely with extras freshly made and always good for me to have an option of GF food.

Superbly comfortable and well appointed. Finishings are of the highest quality. Location is outstanding for town centre, restaurants and all the sights. The owner, Veerlee, was so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was exceptional.

This place is outstanding and fully deserves its high rating and reviews. Our room was spacious and light-filled, with quality fittings and an excellent shower. I was delighted with it. Breakfast was exceptional with great choices and excellent pancakes. The host is a warm and engaging person. It feels like everything is done with love, care and generosity. Highly recommended!

It was perfect!

Stunning room and building, the owner was wonderful and so so friendly and helpful! A beautiful breakfast including freshly made pancakes and delicious yogurt and fruits, perfect. The location was excellent and everything was so walkable. Special mention of the Japanese toilet, remote control curtains in the room and the private secure parking! Highly recommend St George IV to all 🥰
