Hotel Is a bit pricey but it’s location, style and cleanliness make it worthwhile.

Breakfast good. Location is ideal which is why this was the third time we stayed at La Chimere. Quality and variety of restaurant food in Búzios is excellent.

We booked a week in advance, and got a room on the ground floor just by the pool. This meant that it was quite noisy with children screaming and very loud music from the pool area. We could hear the music and loud noise even with all doors and windows shut. I would recommend the pousada to decrease the volume of the music and limit it to stop by 8pm (and not 10pm), and instruct guests in the pool to be mindful of others that are trying to relax in their rooms. The room smelt a bit mouldy, but I think this was due to the location of it (no direct sunlight, which may have caused the dampness).

The location of this pousada is amazing. Probably the best location in Buzios! You can go by foot almost anywhere and further away beaches are only a short drive away. It was very charming, the room was spacious and breakfast was delicious.

The heated dipping-pool is a bit small but very nice all the same.

Location is excellent for all amenities. Breakfast very good and healthy. Eggs to one's choice.

Jacuzzi was cold, there was no ocean view, the dinner menu was very disappointing and there was no tub.

We were just a bit disappointed by our room that gave into the inside patio instead of the outside (while this was supposed to be an upgrade...). So not very private and a bit dark. Also, we were a bit surprised by the constant music playing in the lobby and common area. But as soon as I asked to change to nicer music the team was very friendly and did it immediately. Will probably return, but different room next time. thanks!

The location is great for people who looks to be near to the town and at the same time near to the beach. Second time in there, they give us a bedroom upgrade.

1. Receptionist Fernando was very rude, couldn't even say welcome! 2. Rooms with extreme mold smell, they have tried to cover up with paint, without success! Just for the record we changed rooms twice and both rooms were moldy! 3. Breakfast without air con. meaning you started your day sweating, coffee was terrible! 4, We had booked 2 rooms for 3 persons, same price for the two rooms, there was a welcome drink included in the stay, so we ordered 4 drinks for two rooms, because we thought that 2 rooms for the same price would mean 4 welcome drinks! But no, the receptionist came out to the pool and told us in front of all guests, very embarrassing that there would only be 3 welcome drinks. How narrow minded can you be?! 5. I suggest. if you can erfort it, than book the hotel next door, the Vila da Santa Hotel Boutique & SPA it's worth it

we booked a superior room but were given a floor room right in front of the swimming pool and coffee tables, without any privacy, no window, but a glass door opening to the passage. room smelled like mold and there was a cleaning product sprayed from the air conditioner to mask the smell. there were ants on the furniture, inside the closet and in the bathroom. they said it was the only room available because we were the last to arrive and that they would change it after 2 nights. we stayed for just one night and moved to another hotel. we payed for a non refundable reservation but still hoping to be reimbursed for some amount.
