Breakfast was a highlight - it’s fresh, varied and delicious and housed in a peaceful garden. Great way to start the day. All staff, Lola included, were lovely, attentive and helpful. Cosy rooms and comfy bed. A peaceful oasis vibe. Favourite accommodation of my trip - I really didn’t want to leave.

It's a bit far from the center, so I was happy to have a car. But many of the other travelers managed well even without a car.

Really nice, peaceful pousada with a beautiful garden with hummingbirds and a small pool. Every room has a hammock in front. :) Björn was very friendly and helpful.

Decorated with style with everything you need to relax. Bjorn and his staff were sublime, kind and helpful. The place is 30 minutes walk from the “center” of Paraty - which is good if you want to stay away from the hustle of the town. It is also a safe area where we had no problem at all walking around both in day and night. Plenty of cosy restaurants close by. All in all a wonderful stay!

A bit far from the centre about a 30 minute walk which we don't mind but it was so hot and getting a taxi was a nightmare.

The host Bjorn was very helpful he was a lovely guy. Breakfast there was good a good selection.

There was nothing about the property, the location was a bit further from old town than I originally thought but it did not bother us too much as we enjoyed the walk :)

The place was a lovely little oasis, the garden is beautiful and very chilled. Bjorn made us feel super welcome and was helpful giving us recommendations for the area. As far as guest houses go it was great, very homely and clean.

We really enjoyed the well-thought-out room and pousada environment. Eg: the wifi works great and electricity points are abundant and at the right heights. The reception was great; Owner Bjorn makes a great effort to help out with directions, breakfast was the best we had in Brazil so far; in the (flower)garden with nice crockery, a flower on your table, fresh herbs with the dishes etc etc; breakfast was cooked on the spot. Easy to walk to the historic centre. The room is cozy but spacious. And when -due to a festival in town- taxi canceled at the last minute, he did not hesitate for a second and brought us to the station. Excellent service

There honestly is nothing not to like here. I just wish I could have stayed here longer!

The hospitality was exceptional. From the arrival to checking out we were looked after very well. The owner spoke English, German, French and portugese so was very helpful with advice and information about the local area. The breakfast spread each morning was the best I've experienced.(I've travelled alot aswell). The nature and surroundings made this place even more beautiful and I was lucky to see monkeys in the hotel garden itself. I am already planning a trip next year. Highly recommend to everyone!!

The location is a good 20-25 minutes walking from the old town. Uber does drive there for drop-offs though and the owner has numbers for cab drivers

Björn is the best host - knows everything and is incredibly nice and helpful. Breakfast is made with love and he made us the best pancakes ever

We loved everything. It was a very beautiful and calming place that felt like home, we could chill, relax and enjoy the good vibes that Bjorn and Larissa created for us. They are so sweet and welcoming, very servicial, spoiling us with amazing food, helping and answering all our questions and needs (tours, laundry, taxi, extra tasty food hehe). Always received us with a big smile, genuine interest and loving warmth presence and care. It was always clean and you can notice how they care for little details, like we always had available water, mosquito spray and whatever we needed. the room was very well eqquiped with ventilator, towels, very comfy beds, hairdryer, fridge, etc. also the music playlist was great :) We will definitely come back again at the first chance we have :D

The cleanliness of the pool - water was stagnant with lots of leaves etc.

The vibe was very chill. The room was spacious and breakfast was excellent. The owner Björn was great and has created a beautiful slice of paradise.

Cozy hotel just outside town, easier to have a car here so you can drive into the historic centre and explore all the beaches and other places around Paraty. Friendly owner and amazing breakfast along with comfy rooms. Would return!

We loved this hostel, we have travelled around Brazil for one month and our 4 days at Planeta Banana was our favourite hostel of all! It was clean, the room was beautiful, the hostel itself was a lovely setting with a beautiful garden and so close to the beach. The staff were lovely and friendly, and the best part of all was the hostel dog, Lola, who stole our hearts ❤️🥺

A little corner of paradise, the breakfast area was a highlight, with attention to details, I would totally recommend Planeta Banana!

One room had an old and somewhat noise air condition. It's also a bit difficult to find. It's around 20min walk into the old down town.

The place is gorgeous, the "court yard" is beautiful with lot's of green and comfy furniture. The rooms are clean and in good condition. In one room we had a modern and quiet air condition. Björn is very friendly and helpful with giving tips for what to do in Paraty. On top of it, he does speak German, which was very helpful for us.

One of our favourite places to stay in 3 months travelling! This was the single best breakfast in all our travels. If this was a restaurant, I would change my plans just to go eat here. You start off with incredible fresh fruit selection and then get fresh bread from the bakery close by. This cones with preserves, hams and cheeses. You get yogurt, coffee, teas and the freshest orange juice imaginable. After that you get made to order scrambled eggs and then a variation of options to finish. We choose the banana crepes and they made a separate dairy free one for me as I'm lactose intolerant. The rooms are huge and have air-conditioning and a fan. We slept incredible well here and the beds were very comfortable. The service here is mind blowing. They make you feel so welcome and we ended up extending our stay to a week. They also have a small pool and the room comes with a fridge and free bottled water. Rooms are cleaned daily too. It is 20min walk from the centre of town and that was no problem for us as you get to see so much more of the town. Totally loved this place and would very highly recommend!!

Great Pousada in calm, residential area with wonderful breaky (great Tapioka), a 20min walk from the old town. We enjoyed the calm atmosphere away from the touristy hotspot and Björn‘s positivity!

The host here is lovely and very helpful and it is a peaceful, pleasamt place to stay. Breakfast is brilliant, definitely would stay again. We loved it.
