The hotel was excellent! Right in front of one of the best beaches in Buzios! The breakfast was excellent! The whole experience was amazing, attentive service, spotless comfort, and thoughtful details that make us feel genuinely cared for.

Lovely and very attentive staff. Perfect location at the beach, big plus is the sports area and spa. Very beautiful garden and a perfect place to hang out.

The grounds, rooms, and amenities are beautiful. The breakfast is delicious. The view of the beach and the access to Ferradura is amazing. The staff are incredibly friendly and happy to help. Easily my favorite hotel in Búzios!

The only downside was the breakfast experience, as the options were limited, and the service during breakfast was very slow. Considering all the rest, this was very minor issue for us.

This place is a true oasis—a peaceful and beautiful location, perfect for anyone seeking real rest and relaxation. I would gladly return here, the room with the ocean view is amazing. I highly recommend it.

There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room or iron/ironing board, which we would have expected. Nothing much else in the area so need car/taxi to get to shops/restaurants although Ubers are easy to get and inexpensive.

Lovely small hotel right on the beach with heated outdoor swimmig pool. A calm oasis from the busy beach. Staff were very helpful and friendly especially Paulo who gave us lots of helpful advice and tips.

Due to the location, we sometimes had to wait 15 minutes for an Uber to get to Villa Raphael. On our last night there was building noise (drilling until about midnight!) from a room or building next to us. We would appreciate an effort to reduce single use plastic, e.g. no plastic straws or little bottles of toiletries in the bathrooms. Please use biodegradable or metal reusable straws, and for shower gel etc. large refillable bottles, which we've seen in other hotels in Brazil.

After staying near João Fernandes beach for a few days, we wanted tranquility and this is what we got at Villa Raphael. The feel of the Villa is quite exclusive, as if you're a personal guest at Raphael's villa. The reception and restaurant area is beautiful, with nice garden and gorgeous views. The service from all staff was excellent. As it was an adult only guesthouse, it was always tranquil in the garden and there was no loud music (just some quiet jazz in the background). Ferradura beach is a much quieter beach than the beaches near the centre. The pool was a good size and we could swim some short lengths, and the water temperature was perfect. There were lots of sunloungers with shade and other comfortable seating in the garden, and also some chairs with parasols on the beach for use by Villa guests. Our standard room was a good size, nicely decorated and clean. The bed was very comfortable, and air conditioning worked well. There was a good choice for the a la carte breakfast, and the quality was very good. We also had dinner there one night and it was very tasty, and not too expensive. The town centre is not close, but it takes less than 10 mins by Uber or taxi. We had a lovely relaxing stay, and would recommend Villa Raphael to anyone staying in Búzios.

This hotel was absolutely perfect… the location is amazing, right on the beach, the service absolutely top notch and great value for money. You could easily leave your stuff on one of the many cabanas by the pool, which was safe and watched by the staff, then walk down to the beach and enjoy the sand/ocean before returning. The food & bar options were also delicious. We found it incredibly peaceful and would love to go back!

Loved, loved, loved this hotel! Would definitely stay here again if returning to Buzios. Such a cute style / interior, a lovely pool and garden with a view of Ferradura bay, and the breakfast was such a treat every morning. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The general atmosphere of the place is just so nice.

The rooms are bare. The bathrooms desperately need upgrading. Sheets all polyester - unacceptable for the amount charged. No tea/coffee facilities. We were told that the coffee in the reception area was available 24/7 but there were often no pods, no milk and no hot water for tea. There was nowhere to hang towels other than inside the wet shower. Staff were all kind and willing to try to solve problems, but untrained and unable to communicate basic service matters - being dismissive or bureaucratic about basic requests is not the level expected from this price bracket.

The location is great though noisy, and the staff are friendly and willing

I had to paid charges that were not detailed at the reservation, not sure if that is mandatory or they put it in that way. something like 15% of my account, I considered too much. They should to be honest and present this charges in advance.

Great to be at side to the beach, the chairs in there and the pool were great. Also we liked the caipirinhas. I tried the fish in the restaurant and was very good (namorado).
