The mosquitoes made for restless sleeping. A ceiling fan works have been an excellent addition.

The location, secluded high up in the hills was a tropical paradise with beautiful views and a short trek down the hill. Restaurants were excellent as was shopping.

It's not really a dislike, but it's a bit of a trek uphill to get there. Make sure you don't have any massive suitcases. Well worth the climb!

Camilla was a fantastic host and gave me an upgrade. It had the most fantastic views over the sea/harbour. The apartment was large and spacious. The pousada has its own beach which was a super highlight! I cannot recommend this place enough. Will definitely return.

Simply heavenly! Beautiful location, really cozy room with everything you need. Stunning sea view and direct access to the beach! Truly a peaceful location. The hammock on the terrace is amazing! But the icing on the cake was Claudio & Camila, incredibly kind! Really friendly and helpful. They organized the tour last minute and it was perfect! I felt at home, FANTASTIC!"

There are some stairs leading up to the property, but they offer beautiful views and were not a problem for us but it’s good to know (if you're lazy ;))

Beautiful views from the spacious room. It's also out of the very busy streets in town (which we found out is way better because you can relax without all the noise) but close enough. Also, the owner was very friendly and accommodating. And last but not least, they have a terrace at the beachside with chairs you can use. Very good sunset! Would definitely stay here again.

Not an issues for us but for people with walking/mobility problems it might be tricky to reach the apartment (especially multiple times a day).

The apartment is phenomenal, very well equipped, spacious, clean. The balcony views are stunning. We had an unforgettable experience. Nothing less than 10/10.

Everything is perfect…

The environnement is great, surrounded by flowers and trees! Awesome! The managers are really more than sympatical: you feel at home! A plus is that you re in a perfect peaceful place and silent: just flowers, birds and the sound of waves!

We would have liked some of the basics that are included in some other accommodation (e.g. toiletries, olive oil for cooking, etc), but we recognise that not all guests would like these.

Our staying at Pousada Residence Villa das Flores was amazing. Camila, one of the receptionists, was really friendly and provided all the information we needed about the island, offering us a list of the best places to visit and things to do in Morro. (Each one we did was excellent!) Our apartment had a stunning view, with all amenities that we needed. A fully equipped kitchen, dinner table and balcony area. We also had easy access to a beach that was just a few steps from the apartment. The beach is not for the exclusive use of the guests, but there are not many people around and the water is really clean. We thought that the Pousada was well located. We didn't mind the 7 min walk from the city centre to the apartments. We would definitely stay here again and can't wait to visit Morro de São Paulo again.

Getting to the property requires walking an unpaved path/trail up and down hills through some woods, which is very difficult with luggage and probably impossible for anyone with walking difficulties. Hiring a luggage carrier is absolutely necessary and they will try to ask for more money for their service when they find out you are staying at this pousada due to the difficulties getting there. This was not mentioned at all during the booking process and feel like this should be advertised. Luckily it did not rain during our stay but going to and from still requires a shower every time you return. Shower was not consistently warm and would change from hot to cold instantly, not to mention, the staff advised us that we cannot shower and use the ac at the same time due to power issues.

It is far from the main beaches and you need to take a very long set of stairs all the way to the pousada. The air conditioner was very loud, even after some required fixing because it seemingly broke during the night at a certain point while starting to do an awful metallic sound. Also, the bed and pillows weren’t comfortable, especially in the double bed. Wi-Fi wasn’t working at all or barely working. We didn’t have a tea or coffee maker nor a couch that were advertised in the description.

El acceso al hotel es pésimo. Realmente le quita encanto a un lugar que es bello.

The views are spectacular, big room with a terrace and a kitchen. Its VERRY difficult to get to the hotel. You have to walk a long way the road is precarious, dark, you have to climb to g to get there. There is no food service available they don't even give you shampoo. the place is beautiful but with these drawbacks
