I loved every minute I spent at Vila Kalango!

I have travelled to many places in my lifetime and I can really say that I have never stayed in a better resort than Vila Kalango! The accommodations are superb, rooms are beautiful and sparkling clean, the king size bed is super comfortable, with lots of pillows, the A/C and the ceiling fan are on point, the double shower has perfect water pressure, the staff is ultra knowledgeable and friendly and the restaurant food is delicious (please try the shrimp appetizer breaded with coconut and tapioca flour, I promise you will love it!). The views from the restaurant are breathtaking, and the fact that the only thing separating you from the beach is a gate adds to the wonderful experience.

There was nothing we didn't like. We just loved our stay.

The breakfast was delicious and healthy. All fresh and home-prepared produce. Lots of choice and natural ingredients. The location was ideal. Easy to walk to restaurants and shops and right on the beach. We also loved the restaurant and hanging out in the pool. All very relaxed and the staff were warm, friendly and very helpful.

Everything was perfect

Everything was perfect, the food, the drinks, the dinner, and the location! The bungalow accommodation was fantastic beyond expectations! The people who helped us throughout our stay were super friendly and kind!

It’s not possible to find something you don’t like there. We didn’t like when we had to leave.

Absolutely everything. Vila Kalango was the best during our holidays since we arrived. The staff is super friendly, the rooms are unique and sustainable. The bed is sooooo comfortable. The food as delicious and they have options from small snacks to high standard 3-courses. The drinks are original and refreshing. The breakfast is local and they prepare tapiocas fresh. You have everyday fresh homemade jams.

Given the village organization, shuttle is required to / from parking lot. It sometimes can take up to 15 to 20 minutes waiting .

This is a negative that you should take in account if you don’t like nature (didn’t bothered us): there are some animals, no air conditioning and TV in the room. Regarding the noises (which you will read in some reviews), we had it only in the first night and following that it seems that law enforcement along with local mafia dissuaded guys running around with pumped up motos. So I am glad to report we had peaceful nights. We will be back :)

Best location in Jeri. The staff is awesome, Fran, Jefferson and everyone had always a big smile and were super helpful! We stayed in the bungalow 16, felt in the middle of the place, but it was super quiet and private. Nice breakfast, nice bar and great spot to watch the sunset. Great drinks with Jefferson!

The place is amazaing, the style fits perfectly with the forest and the beach. The room is amazing (it seems to be in a lodge). All the staff was very helpful. We stayed there only one night but we wished to stay longer!

We wished there were wooden sidewalks to the bungalows. Sometimes after a day of stepping on sand, we took showers and wanted ”sand free” feet to go with nicer dinner clothes, but that was not possible bc you must transverse thru sand to get from room to restaurant

Great location right at the beach and near sand dunes. Restaurant has gluten-free options for family members with celiac disease. It was nice to take windsurfing lessons. The staff was super friendly!!!

Wasn't a huge fan of the hammocks outside the vila doors.

The hotel is amazing, close to the beach, the staff is amazing, the sunset setting is beautiful, the caipirinhas are amazing, bartenders are the best, the breakfast is outstanding. The live music was fantastic!!! We love everything

The instructions to get at villa Kalango. We didn't receive any instructions at all. The last 10 km you have to drive on the beach which was partly flooded. Our car couldn't go through and we got stuck. It turns out that they can pick you up at the village 10 km before Jericoacoara. You leave your car there and pay 150 RS. I would have like to know this before coming. We arrived in the dark now. Further the rooms are very hot at night. There is a fan. On the other hand this also gives a vacation vibe

Villa Kalango is a great accommodation. We would definitely go back. Jericoacoara is a very nice small village with a holiday vibe. The villa is exactly adjacent to the beach. Food is fantastic. Great breakfast , great lunch and nice drinks. Fantastic houses which feels like vacation 10.0

I wish they had plant based milk at breakfast. Also, I wish they sell their toiletries, it smells to good!

It was quiet, everything was clean and neat. All the toiletries smelled soooo nice. Breakfast was amazing, lots of selections of fruits, cheese, breads...and everyday it was different selection. I personally liked tapioca roll alot. I saw hummingbirds everyday from breakfast place! and we saw few friendly cats in this hotel and that made our day! The location is good, walking distance to everything. Oh Tea and coffee in the room were also very good!
