We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Brazilthe bathroom was pretty old, unlike the rest of the pousada. The managers told me they planned to refurbish it very soon. Besides, I would recommend to put a gate to separate the private area while the bathroom is separated from the room (my room had a separate but private bathroom, which was ok and already known), but nothing critical.

The owner takes a lot of pride in her posada and it shows. She definitely puts people over profit. Very accommodating, she gave my wife a ride to the closest beach while I stayed behind and worked remotely. Would definitely come back.

BelgiumWe slept in the room “Itacarézinho” on the ground flour. The airconditioning of the rooms upstairs are attached to the wall of this room and make a lot of noice and vibrations during the night, making it very hard to fall asleep sleep. We reported it to the owner and she was already aware of this problem as I was not the first guest to complain about the noice problem, according to her. Personally, I find it unacceptable to charge 250 reais per night under these circumstances. I book a room to sleep, not to be unable to sleep all night!! The other rooms probably do not have this problem.
The pousada is cosy and the room has everything you need and was clean. The breakfast was delicious with many options and fresh/homemade products! It is situated near the centre and the main beaches, so it is perfect for your stay in Itacaré!
