Handsoap in the common bathrooms could be provided and more electricity plugs in the room would be beneficial.

Very centrally located and yet super close to the paved path leading to my favourite beach in Arraial, Praia do Forno, its location is certainly what I liked the most. I stayed in the female dorm which was kept tidy all the time. Cleanliness was also okay. A big thank you to the staff for having answered all my questions ;)

I stayed there for 1.5 week in winter/low season, and at 35 reais per night with breakfast included, that was great value and balanced the inconveniences of the place, which were not few: noise from guests and staff at night; incomplete kitchen; fridge, microwave and sink disgustingly dirty; kitchen space almost completely taken by staff (pots at meal times, shelves, fridge); only two bathrooms available; lack of lights at the outdoor tables at night. That said, other things were alright: comfortable mattress, clean bedsheets, one bathroom with warm shower, big dorms with space for everybody, nice house overall, nice travelers vibe and great location near the port.

there was no blanket for the bed (only warm blanket but not a simple one) and the fan was a bit too loud , but bearable :)

location is very close to Forno beach (maybe my favourite beach in the area where you can swim with turtles). they have simple but free breakfast! have place to cook and common place to work. plus they help with local tours. the mattress was comfortable enough to sleep. the volunteers friendly and helpful. also I had a double payment due to the problem with their terminal but they helped to recover it in a few days (was a problem with Pagbank) so really that was good when they keep updating me via WhatsApp🙏

3 Combined toilets and showers for the whole hostel is not enough, there were times you had to wait over half hour for the toilet as people were queuing for the shower. Need to replace some of the kitchen utensils. The dorm on the bottom floor had the door open pretty much the whole time, we didn’t even know it shut as it was stuck so not much security. It’s also right next to the common area outside so super noisy. Only small padlocks work on the lockers, luckily I had one but my larger one would not have worked. The pillows are super thin.

Great location, lovely staff, very clean and good value for money and good common areas.

Really, this place NEEDS Air Conditioning in the dorms! We opened the door at night to have some wind and everyone has tons of mosquito bites now!

The staff were rarely present near the reception desk, and front door was always wide open. No real security. Beds had plastic pillows. Lockers were flimsy and most had broken latches. No AC at night and the dorm room window is right next to the common area/ smoking area/ pool table. Bathroom doorknob was broken, no soap or paper towels in the bathrooms, etc. Very loud, not a good place to rest. The free "breakfast" was only bread, butter and coffee. No drinking water or water filter in the kitchen. Even with a discount this was not worth the money, especially when much better hostels for the same price are within 1-2 blocks of this one.

With proper management, the layout of this hostel could be very nice. The location is convenient to the bus terminal and the beach. You could do whatever you wanted at this place; I can't explain its popularity and high ratings any other way.

Me and my friends got choked trying to using the shower multiple times and was given to us a mold pillow

Hostel it is in a lovely location however the facilities are in a very bad condition

When there is no window in the room there will be mosquitos and noise at night, no soap in the WC is gross, and no water to drink means spending more money and unnecessary plastic waste.

Optimal location and nice property with lots of common areas, i like how they make an effort to serve you coffee and breakfast even though the price for the night is not expensive.

I'd like to bring up a safety concern regarding the faucet in the girl's room. It's wrapped in tape to prevent electric shocks, but there's still a noticeable risk when using it. This is the only thing I can point out, as everything else was 10/10 :)

The best hostel ever in my experience. The manager Aline makes everyone happy and comfortable. All staff members are very friendly and helpful. I know it’s difficult to do like this but that made me perfect stay at Arraial do Cabo. Miss them already. Thank you very much!!!
