Just need to point out is a bit tricky to get up there with luggages, and there were some spider nets in the room. But I understand it is part of being so close to nature, and little spiders can build them quite fast. Anyway I would stay here again! Loved it!

It didn’t bother us at all but people should be aware that the access to the hotel demands fitness. And on rainy days the steep uphill 10 min walk becomes muddy and slippery. It’s part of the hotel’s magic but certainly not for everyone

This is one of my favorite hotels ever! Everything about O Ceu is memorable — the friendly and knowledgeable staff, the delicious and healthy food, the scenic, stylish and comfortable property, the hiking trails all around, the beautiful beaches, the relaxing massage by the little pond, the songs of birds everywhere, the charming village of Boipeba… I could go on!

Paradise. This is truely fabulous, one-of-kind hotel. It is chic while remaining rustic, charming, and beautifully romantic. There are only a handful of rooms, all of which look out over the canopy towards the stunning beaches with the big sky and incredible sunsets. There are no cars here so all you will hear are the waves and the sounds of all the forest birds and animals. Heaven. We stayed in both a Superior Room as well as the Deluxe. We loved our Superior room which was stunning, but the Deluxe with its teak bath takes it to another level. The team really made our stay very special. Super friendly, kind, and thoughtful. Thank you Gilvan and the team at O Ceu for making our stay so memorable. A special shout out to Mariana for her wonderful Caipirinhas. Breakfast is cooked individually for each guest, and the evening meals were lovely. Cocktails at sunset are fabulous and it was fun to share this with some others that had managed to book a table for sundowners. There is a walk up to the property and help with your luggage is offered at the little jetty for a small fee; definitely use this service. We always bring a torch and you should too; the whole island gets very dark including the walk up to the property.

If you have any doubts just go! The most stunning views from your room and from the restaurant. The breakfast is delicious, the rooms are so well designed and the staff is amazingly friendly and ready to help plan your day at any time! The climb to the hotel is a nice challenge and it just feels like you’re on top of the world. The location is actually really convenient too. Beaches are at walking distance and so is the city Centre.

The place is high at the top of the trees and have an amazing view. Nature is around everywhere, really amazing, birds and bugs are present - each room has individuality and beautiful views - mine had a wooden bathtub (which was amazing) Breakfast is ala carte and of good quality. the hotel holds a sunset bar activity every evening, good music and drinks.

The access and directions on the arrival and during check-in could have been better. The staff could have been more helpful during that process, and also, the signage and pedestrian access to Ceu de boipeba could be better. The overall service provoded by the staff could be improved as not all the staff we have interacted with were helpful and friendly.

The location was great and the views from the the room and from the breakfast deck was beautiful.

The accessibility to the hotel is quite difficult and they have not informed us about it. Also, the restaurant took a lot of time to prepare our meals at dinner which was frustrating.

The hotel view is amazing. Waking up with the sunrise at the ocean is an experience that is never going to get boring.

Despite the luxury, it was uncomfortable at night. The room didn’t have A/C, and it’s very hot, so the staff recommended leaving doors open to keep it cool. However, this meant lots of mosquitoes, which even a net couldn’t protect against. The staff weren’t super responsive or warm. The service was a bit slow and it would have been nice to have more Brazilian options at breakfast.

The views are beautiful, and the room felt very private. Amazing nature surrounding the rooms, and a good spot to explore the beautiful island of Boipeba. The dinner and crepes were tasty too! They recommended a transfer with someone called Naldo who was absolutely amazing - we had a fantastic journey with him.

they let non-guests stay so basically for happy hour sunset you have people fighting to take the best selfie. So annoying can’t even find a peaceful place to sit down.
