Reviews of Mountain View Bed & Breakfast

Edwina was a phenomenal host and helped me maximize my time in Banff. The apartment is clean and tidy and the free cereal is a nice touch. Location is great - 5 minute walk to Banff Ave and about 10 min walk to Tunnel Mountain trail. The view of the mountains is an added bonus.

Host was very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

The location was perfect as it was located on a nice quiet street on a road next to the tree line just a couple of blocks from the main street through Banff. Our host was lovely and very responsive to any questions or requests. It was nice to have snacks and breakfast items available at all times in the common shared kitchen area. There was plenty of hanging and storage space so we could unpack and feel settled. There was a list of suggested restaurants and things to do on the coffee table which was helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and the views of the mountains from the porch. Our host even came to let us know when their were elk out walking nearby so we could see them! You could see them from the driveway of the house so that was an amazing experience. She was such a lovely host that it felt like we were visiting a friend. I highly recommend staying here for your visit to Banff!

Don't really want to put any negatives but for us being 2 taller people the facilities were very cramped

Great location and Edwina was very welcoming. The place has everything you’d need for a trip to Banff. The breakfast provided is perfect for setting you up for the hikes that day.

The room was great but my only small complaint was the pillows. They went flat as soon as you laid your head on them. I ended up having to fold them to get some height.

Great location. Easy walk to downtown Banff with parking. Host was great, has lots of good information on the area and very friendly. An overall great experience.

We could not have asked for more at Edwinas place. Location was perfect for Banff and surrounding areas. 10 minute (if that) walk into town where you can get a Roam bus to most sight seeing destinations. Edwinas place was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast provided was exactly what we needed before hiking. We also saw a mother and baby deer just outside! 10/10

Nothing!

Had a “lounge room” that we used for our luggage which was great! Even though the complex is shared it is a very private space and there are seperate locks. Amazing location and the host has great recommendations for food and activities!

Edwina is very accommodating and gives special attention to our needs. The place itself is clean, quiet and very convenient to downtown. They serve breakfast too.
