Well just a few things come to mind, a locked door and a smoke alarm that chirps away because nobody has a key for the room yet. The reduction in the rate per month should be alot more because it is a very large home to keep clean.

I like the size of the home , with a large beautiful island in the very nice kitchen. Warm fireplace and plenty of relaxing seating. The house is always very clean because I am staying here long term and I am the chosen one to keep it clean. Garage space for my car is appreciated too. Quiet here most of the time. The bedroom has a nice south and west view, so there is plenty of sunshine and natural light coming into the room. Across the street from the home is a natural wetlands area with a paved walkway so no matter what the season one can enjoy and walk around the wetlands area .Happy I am here!

The address is Yorkville terrace sw, but with every single street in the neighborhood having some variation of Yorkville in the street name. It kept us going in circles, first at 16 Yorkville Ave SW, probably scared the crap out of the poor couple living there, sorry! Then we ended up at 16 Yorkville Street SW. Got yelled at by the homeowner there, then finally we found the correct address. 16 Yorkville terrace sw. Husband and I arguing by the time we found it. Both our phones dead and carrying luggage street after street looking for the correct house. But it was worth every single blood, sweat and tear we lost looking.

The room was advertised for just under $40 per night for 2 people. But on arrival we were pleasantly surprised to find out that my husband and I were the only guests in a 8 bedroom house with 3 bathrooms. Best deal we have ever gotten. Beautiful home and huge.

When we arrived, the door to our assigned room was locked. We called, and were told where the key was. Upon entering, there was someone already in the room. When we called about that, we were asked to go talk to him, and pass the phone so the representative could speak to him. We were then moved to another room. I also was unimpressed that room numbers were merely written on the doors in a sharpie marker. The frame was merely around the box spring and mattress, which were sitting on the floor. It was difficult to get in and out of bed.

Ran out of toilet paper and a guest had to go and buy more; cleaners did not restock toilet paper, clean towels, dishwasher detergent. Owners are extremely hands off, and rely on others to keep the property operational. I reached out to the owners during our stay and they did not even acknowledge they failed, they said the cleaners tried their best.

I didn’t like the tenants that I had there. I had my perfume stolen, and I felt uncomfortable with the tenants that were in that place. The cleaning lady seemed a bit strange. The amenities were not touched up at all. They didn’t have great towels. They didn’t touch up on toilet paper or paper towel. The grass was not kept well. They did not provide the Netflix password. The place was not close by any convenience store or Timmy’s.

During booking it was nowhere mentioned that it was a shared property with six rooms. We were in for shock to enter a shared property with other families. The room given to my family was as not ready either. No toiletries in bath were present. I messaged the owner and I was told to find myself from anywhere in the house. We did not find everything and spent 7 days without any shampoo. The beds were very basic like a youth hostel and curtains did not cover the full window and hence privacy was an issue. No Air Con in house and we spent a week in 85F really struggling with two tiny tower fans. Kitchen has very basic utensils mostly melamine based. The kettle was absolutely stained with mold so nobody was using it. There is no access to washing machine. I asked for it and the owner was kind enough to provide access but did ask me to lock so other residents can’t use. We spent a fortune not knowing the kind of horrible experience we will be in. We got a youth hostel experience. Avoid if have a family and you need luxury and privacy.

Location is far. The room is very hot and there was no central air. I asked for another fan and didn’t get a response. I woke up with my allergies and sinuses worsened. Also I booked a room with private bathroom I ended up with a shared bathroom which I would never had paid for a place like that.

We had 3 rooms in that house, room 1 master with one good mattress, The second mattress was very bad quality, there's no A/C at home, hopefully the weather wasn't that hot 🤞. About room number 4, the Mattress wasn't good too, the isolation isn't the best. About room 5, the worst mattress ever seen. In general the house is big and clean, but cheap furniture and bad isolation. Another thing, sharing the house with other guests wasn't a good idea for us if you are looking for some privacy. Once again, the host was a very warm guy and took care of the house.

Absolutely beautiful house, VERY clean and ambiance was warm and welcoming. The host, Les, is exceptional. 3 weeks of pure luxury for me.
