The breakfast was amazing, the most delicious omelette and fruits on the first morning , followed by an amazing Dutch breakfast the second morning. Minka was so helpful and friendly.

everything fine - A perfect stay for us

Perfect homemade breakfast - beautiful stay - friendly a very nice hosts - The Hazelhouse is like a small museum. Wonderful interior and perfectly maintained garden. Thank you Minka and Gerald. And not to forget: FELIX, the cat. :)

We were the only guests staying that night otherwise the only thing that might have bothered me was sharing a washroom. But even that won't stop us from going back !

You could not have asked for friendlier hosts. This couple were both, amazing to deal with, so nice and helpful, we could not have been happier. Thank you both so very much, it was more like visiting family then it was staying at a B&B.

Nothing at all

Difficult to know where to start. A beautifully laid out period B&B with a gorgeous garden. Room was very comfortable and the house was full of knick knacks in every room ....... made it feel so homely and so welcoming. Delicious breakfast.

The house itself is lovely. It shows that the owners really put a lot of care into creating and maintaining a beautiful environment. The hosts were friendly, made us feel very welcome in their home, and at the same time gave us a lot of privacy. The breakfast was amazing.

What an absolute treat it was to stay at Hazelhouse. From the moment we arrived, Minke made us feel so very welcome. The house and gardens are simply stunning. Spotlessly clean in a quiet location by the river but very convenient to town. And the breakfast…absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend staying at this beautiful B&B.

The house and grounds are stunning and so well looked after. Built in 1914, the house is a marvel of the renovations and decorations of the owners and the property is at the end of a road, and bordered by a small river which makes it very private and quiet.

I love Hazel House. It felt like home. Gerald and Minke were wonderful hosts. Minke’s breakfasts were amazing. The house is vintage and full of beautiful antiques. The gardens are lovely. It’s only a short distance to town. I highly recommend the Hazel House.

My grandma and Istayed here while she was down visiting, and we were blown away. This was easily the best place we stayed! Its like a step back in time in the best way possible.The breakfast/sitting area were so peaceful and comforting. The scenery outside the house is stunning. The couple is just lovely. And the food! I think the bathroom would have been shared if we hadn't been the only ones there at the time. My mistake in not noticing but that wouldn't have been preferred by us.

Our comfy room and sitting room, delicious hearty breakfasts, and naturally hospitable host made this a very pleasant stay.

Bedroom was a bit cold (but they provide extra blankets and an electric heater) and the fuse go off easily if you use too many devices at the same time, but it's to be expected since it's an old house.

Location was very safe and quiet. Hosts were very friendly and obviously passionate. House and garden were very clean and tiny, and the Christmas decorations were amazing. Bedroom was old and a bit cold but that's to be expected for an old house, yet the bathroom is very well renovated.

This place is PHENOMENAL, I would rate it 1000000/10 if I could, seriously. The couple that owns the place is very friendly, welcoming, and hospitable, and the place they have is BEAUTIFUL 😍 As a solo female travel I was worried about where I would stay, but I felt so safe here, and it’s in a wonderful part of chiliwack!! The views are STUNNING, and there were so many little things provided that I never expected (like bubble bath, milk for my tea, and so much more). PLEASE if you’re debating what place to book, let this be your sign to chose the HazleHouse Inn
