The lack of a clothes closet was certainly a draw back as was the size of the bathroom.

I liked the location. I certainly enjoyed the location. I would be remiss if I did not mention Yanita, the person who took care of my brother and me upon our arrival. She is a great asset to the facility.

The motel is meticulously maintained with thoughtful gestures throughout. Bottles of ice cold water in the fridge with chilled mugs when we arrived. We arrived after dark and the beautiful lighting was on in the room along with a cool jazz music.The location was on the Le Have River, not far from the crowded and beautiful Lunenburg.We met the owner Mark, who decorated each room differently and amazingly and Trish in the office was great along with the other girl who checked us in. I’m sorry that I can’t remember her name.In the warmer weather, you can swim from there small , sandy beach and dock. Great place. Great stay! Thanks

The bed indicated it was a queen but it did not feel like a queen, it felt like it was a double.

The property was quaint and romantic even. We stayed in cabin 12 and it overlooked the water. We stayed in the fall and were able to see the sunrise every morning from our bed. The rooms were quiet (even with someone staying next to us) and there were plenty of lovely chairs around the property sit in the evening with a glass of wine and one of the complimentary blankets. Parking was easy. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed. It was just lovely.

It was perfection, every detail was utterly beautiful. This was the best place we stayed on our trip. The beach is gorgeous the grounds are well cared for and the beds were spectacularly comfortable. We were gobsmacked! Ever detail was thought out from the room keys to the seating area with plant at your door to the smelly candle coffee with real cream in the room and popcorn to pop.

A lovely motel just out of Bridgewater, ideal for seeing the local area and Peggy's Cove. The staff were all very helpful and gave us some ideas on places to see. The room was clean and comfortable and we were able to park right outside.

We had a wonderful stay at The Lighthouse Motel and Cottages. Our room, which overlooked the water, was beautifully appointed with thoughtful touches—like a Nespresso machine, real coffee creamer, and a cozy, comfortable vibe that made it feel like more than just a stopover. The grounds were just as inviting, with plenty of seating areas along the water’s edge and even a handy station stocked with bug spray in case of uninvited guests. When we arrived, our host noticed we were only staying one night and said, “You’ll wish you were staying longer.” She was absolutely right.

The Lighthouse is an magical place that you'll never want to leave. Each room has it's own theme and the owners paid attention to even the smallest of details. The towels were plush and better than most hotels. The property is on a lake and they've added a fire pit, lights, music, beach towels, bug spray and ice anytime you need. There are 2 floating chairs in the lake by the dock for you to sit in and relax. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The owners have created a piece of paradise in a great area.
