The hotel elevator was very small, and the breakfast wasn’t very good.

The hotel had a great view. Weggis was an amazing town and truly a wonderful tourist village.

There is only a public carpark, but it is alongside the hotel but you cannot reserve a space. My room had no shelves to put clothes on and not much hanging space. No space for the bags either.

Right by the lake with a lovely infinity swimming pool by the lake. It was clear the hotel had been recently decorated. Possible to get a lunchtime menu into the afternoons, staff were friendly and helpful. My bed was very comfortable. The pier for the boats 5 minutes walk away. Also the mount Rigi cablecar is probably around 15 minutes walk walk away. I felt relaxed and enjoyed my stay at Weggis, the shops were friendly also.

The bed is uncomfortable and not suitable for sleeping. The mattress cover is not made of cotton and causes unnecessary sweating. If it is not possible to turn on the air conditioner, put insect screens on the windows so that the room can be ventilated. Ultimately, the guest at the end of a day full of experiences wants to lay his head down and get a good night's sleep.

We were a family of four and our room with small balcony was on the side of the property but we still had a lovely view

It was hot and there was no air conditioning - although we know that they are working on getting that set up with the city and this process takes a while. Perhaps more fans in the interim will be a necessary addition to the rooms. No fitness facility.

On requesting a kettle (supposedly on offer), it was disappointing to find that the entire stock (four!) had already been issued.

Lovely room with balcony with views across Lake Lucerne. Infinity pool (heated) down next to the lake, with access to swim in the lake, should you wish. The hotel is situated on the banks of the lake. Parking available, but not free. Weggis is a lovely, quiet town. Good breakfast, dining room has lake views.

Good hotel in Weggis a great location for access to lake Lucerne and surrounding area. Located in centre of Weggis 5 mins walk from the ferry terminal. Great room on top floor with lake views julliet windows and shower en suite.

1. Parking is a competitive sport! There is no designated parking for the hotel so if you go out, you have to hunt for a space when you get back 2. Sound proofing isn’t great between the rooms. We could hear the conversations either side of us. 3. There was no air conditioning. It’s been installed but has not received permission to be used from the Local Authorities yet. No fans were provided in the meanwhile which made it very difficult to sleep when it was very warm outside. 4. There was a lack of basic items in the room such as glasses for drinks, no bin etc.

The staff were not very helpful or friendly with the exception of Tin, the restaurant manager. He was incredibly kind and went out of his way to be helpful.

The hotel is beautiful and the view and setting could not be better! Breakfast was delicious and there was lots of food to choose from!

Only 4 coat hangers with no space for full length dresses. Lack of air-con but this is just waiting local council approval. Air con is installed ready to go.

Location to ferry, bus stops and cable car to Rigi : all in walking distance. Lake side location, external restaurant for breakfast , lunch and eve meal. Infinity pool and loungers with drinks service to the pool. All the hotel has been renovated, large bedroom, with seating area, large walk in shower, safe, and fridge. Lift to all floors. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Wide range of breakfast items.

Everything was good, but maybe a kettle in the room to enjoy a cuppa looking out at the lake first thing would be nice and we missed a fresh fruit choice at breakfast.

Hotel Weggis is a little gem of a hotel, set right on the shore of the lake. The views are exceptional and it is well worth paying a bit extra for a lake view. Great location for catching the ferry to explore the surrounding area. The staff are attentive and very friendly. Room is clean and comfortable, We ate at the restaurant both nights of our stay and the food and service was excellent. We would definitely recommend a stay at the hotel and would love to return one day.

Lake side location with a beautiful terrace and pool area. Newly refurbished rooms done very well. Staff are exceptional and can’t do enough for you. Fabulous hotel and great food!

Breakfast was not as nice as it was in the past. It was made very clear by the personnel that they really didn't want to serve anything from the restaurant to the hotel guests enjoying the sunny day in the pool area/ garden. We had to go to the restaurant to order, wait very long time for someone to take our orders and eventually pick-up our orders. This made us feel very unwelcome as we felt like nuisance to the personnel not like guests.

The direct access to the lake is 10/10. The infinity pool is impressive. Weggis is the nicest holiday village in Switzerland during summer.

the minute we arrived and walked into the room, it was amazing, the view incredible over the water and the pool, smaller than we thought -w as perfect anyway as right on the edge and we spent most of the time in the lake. Lovely hotel and setting.

Maybe a little updating of the room.

We liked the wonderful location of the hotel, the big terrace, our two balconies, one facing the lake and mountains, the other facing more lake and the small sailboat harbor. We also loved the great breakfast buffet and most of all the friendly wait staff. We plan to return for sure. Again for a three and a half star hotel, this was the best.
