Generally not a bad place. It felt safe and clean and over all comfortable.

Room was falsely described. I booked a "standard suite" and it is listed as having a refrigerator but it did not have that. It is also described as having a living room and a separate bedroom, and it does not - it is just a room with a small sofa at the foot of the bed. Also lists AC, but there is no AC. This is just a plain old hotel room with nothing special. It's definitely not something I would consider a "suite". And to think that I thought I was booking an "upgrade" to their "Junior Suite". When I asked the hotel owner about it, they argued with me that it was in booking.com mistake, not their own. I feel that is a stupid excuse because booking.com doesn't invent the words. This hotel must have told Booking what the room includes. In addition to that, there was a subtle raw sewage smell in the bathroom. And they serve very weak coffee, which literally looks like just slightly brown water. The worst coffee I've ever had in Costa Rica. There is also no iron, or no alarm clock, which was supposed to be part of the room. I don't care about those last two items, but just a few more points of the misleading description.

    Shrubs in front garden

Everything apart from the shrubs in the front garden Place is literally falling apart, although it doesn't appear so from the outside No WiFi in our rooms No air conditioning Reception not usually staffed Poor excuse for breakfast Wires hanging out from shower head No windows to outside TV in one of the rooms not working Sofa in living room was disgustingly filthy/sticky, unusable To cap it all the same rooms on the same website were half the price (still not worth it) Please don't waste your time with this place

    Not much

Booked a 1 bed apartment but when checking in he said not available. He said he put me in an Executive room. Well, if that was Executive I would hate to see a Standard room.! Weak shower pressure Breakfast was 3 dry bread rolls and fresh fruit. Bed was squeaky and uncomfortable. Nowhere near any shopping.

Breakfast was a 3 rolls, fresh juice and fruit and coffee, the room was spacious and I enjoyed all the vegetation and fis tanks that made the place come alive.

A more substantial breakfast might be wanted by some guests, it was great for me.

Was in a quiet location and I really liked the ambiance. Sirina was very nice, friendly and spoke very good English. She is quite affable, approachable as well as helpful.

Only spent one day and night, so can't really comment on anything detrimental.

    Rainforest in center of motel.

I didn’t like bug bites on my feet, legs, and arms the night of stay. Original room smelled of mold. No window screens on room despite rainforest in middle of motel. No lounge area in which to hang out that isn’t bug protected.

I liked the welcome as soon as I arrived. All the details for using the remote controls were explained in detail and where I could get a meal locally. I found the staff really nice and well presented. The room was a large inviting place with lovely paintings on the walls. Good aircon and in a quiet place on the balcony above the beautiful pool where they have 2 inquisitive turtles and Koi carp. It's a small haven surrounded by beautiful palms. Breakfast is good with fresh fruits, juice and great coffee. There's also homemade breads and jams which are nice. I would stay here again.

Perfect for a short stay. It's situated in a beautiful area very close to amenities. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good with homemade breads and jams. There's a lovely quiet area in the garden surrounded by palm trees and a little pond with Koi carp and 2 turtles. You wouldn't think you were near the city, it's sublime.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely exterior surround you with palm trees, apple trees and abundant greenery. There's a beautiful little pond with koi carp and 2 inquisitive turtles. It's a small paradise and calm haven.

Unfortunately the room I was in was quite noisy. Sounded like a generator on most of the night. My second night I was woken up at 2am with what sounded like trapped air in the water pipes. The staff and the breakfast made up for it though. I still would return but maybe not in the same room..
