Fantastic location and hosts, and beautiful apartment looking over the ocean

The toilet and shower have no window and the light there is not too good. But these aspects do not really matter in comparison to all the rest.

Great location and great view from the terrace. The communication with Don&Noëmie was easy. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need for a stay in Curacao. There is enough parking in front of the house, we always found a spot.

I admit we, as Americans, are a bit spoiled. However, we always follow the guidelines and differences on the islands we have visited over the years. We had a very busy schedule for the week, with some activities already prepaid and times during the day we had to be out of the apartment (actually, every day was for exploring). Four out of five of us scuba-dive and preplanned many activities. With that said, having the electricity to purchase was something new for us, and I truly wish I had just paid for more as soon as we arrived. The gas station near the apartment was easily walkable; if you pay in USD, they give you money back in NAFL. It was fine because we used it on the beach to rent a few chairs, so that was no problem. I recommend buying it immediately, so you don't have to worry about it throughout the week. I believe the two-bedroom, about $75 USD, and the one-bedroom, $45 USD, would be more than enough for the week; if you need more, you can get it. We turned off the fans when we left but left the AC in bedrooms on 28-29 so the rooms didn't have to cool down too much. Also, the number of keys needed to enter and exit was much more than we were accustomed to, but after a few days, we got used to it. :) Remember, however, that there are no washing stations or hoses for the equipment, and our wetsuits, snorkels, and BCDs need washing after every use. We kept forgetting to get a roll of paper towels every time we went to the store the first few times, which was frustrating for our breakfasts, but Don gave us a roll of TP one night so we didn't have to go without, we kept forgetting it! The two-bedroom unit was cleaned on Friday while we were out for the day, but we were checking out on Sunday morning, so I felt like that was a waste of cleaning. I wish both units were cleaned midweek with new beach towels left, which we would have dropped off the used ones on the balcony for exchange or pick up.

The owners were there and waiting for us to arrive. They gave us information, a great map, and the keys to the units we rented (the two-bedroom on the ground floor and the one-bedroom above with an ocean view). The waves were too large in the late afternoons when we returned to explore the water in front of the apartments, but if we had stayed there throughout the day, we could have snorkeled or even scubaed right from the apartments. We loved several restaurants within walking distance from the units! Kome, DeHaareen, Mundo Bizarro, The Gouvenour, Lady on the Swing, and Ginger were so many to choose from; each had something unique and different about them! We walked up to the Netto Bar area one night, and dancing in the streets was super fun to watch! Also, they sell cold beer on the street, and you can walk around. If you go down to the Scuba Lodge or any restaurant, you can walk right through to the boardwalk area and even climb down in the cove and snorkel, day or night! Our days were filled with exploration, and in the evenings, we had a drink and enjoyed the sunset and waves before walking to a new dinner location! Punda Vibes has great fireworks every Thursday, and there are many crowds to see them. The decor for Christmas was out of this world! Please stay on the Queen Emma Bridge and ride it when it opens for boats/ships! Truly, we did not cover half of the island and plan to be back!

For the price we paid (€275 per night for a 8 night stay), we did not like we had to go to the Botika to buy electricity for the apartment. This was not included in the price. The view from the apartment was blocked by the huge terrace furniture.

The location is fabulous. At the seaside with the possibility to go into the sea. And in the very nice Pietermaai district on walking distance from Willemstad.

If you don't drive, it's not possible to buy basic grocery/food items nearby, but as I learned too late, the hosts will help you if you ask.

Dom and Noemie are incredibly kind and took excellent care with me. I highly recommend this accommodation. It has everything you need and then some, and is in the best possible location on the island if you don't drive. The hosts can coordinate transportation to and from the airport and also helped me book a boat trip to Klein Curacao, which is a must-see. The apartment was clean, quiet, and well appointed, and the shower, air conditioning, and wifi all work well. The back patio, if you stay on the ground floor, is totally private, and you can sit and listen to the waves. The view is incredible. While it's technically on a beach, I wouldn't recommend swimming there as the entrance to the water is rocky, and the water is rough and gets deep pretty quickly. But if you are brave and a strong swimmer, snorkeler with water shoes, you might be fine. The location is walking distance from amazing restaurants and from downtown Punda. Truly my best holiday ever.

There's absolutely NOTHING to complain about.

A beautiful house, centrally located in walking distance to restaurants, bars, the center of Willemstad with its Queen Emma Bridge. Most beautiful ocean view from the terrace, shower with ocean view, kitchen with ocean view - how amazing is that. The bed in the main bedroom is huge, very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a lovely meal. In general you'll find plenty of useful things to make yourself home and comfy. You have access to the Caribbean Sea for a refreshing swim anytime you want. The property is secluded, the house has an alarm system for 100% safety. The hosts Don and Noëmie are very lovely. I had an amazing month and am grateful for the experience.

The hosts reserved a parking spot right in front of the apartment so that when we arrived on Monday evening we didn't have to drive around to find one. At check in they also provided a map and plenty of other brochures with information about Curaçao which we found very helpful. They took the time to explain everything about the apartment and to answer any questions we had. In general Don and Noemi were both very friendly and acommodating. They even surprised us with a bottle of sparkling wine for my mother's birthday. The location of the apartment was perfect, it is in a central location and had lots of options for food and drinks. The view from the balcony was beautiful and the rooms very quite. We had a wonderful time and I can absolutely recommend booking a stay here!

There is no air conditioner and no glass in windows on the living room so is hot inside during the day and prepaid electricity is not cheap. We did top up too much prepaid energy (hard to calculate) and they did not refund us in any way. They did not even provide us sufficient trash bags and asked us to buy them when asked. The inner courtyard mentioned is just a narrow corridor. We had really noisy neighbors.

There was a couple of nice bars at 1 block.
