The apartment is well located, near stores, a mall, Jan Thiel beach, Mambo beach. Everything a few minutes away by car. Renting a car is a must in this island. Good and silent air conditioner.. Delicious pool for the night. Quiet surroundings. Parking lot available with communal security. Davide and Sarah are wonderful, always available to help.

There was truly nothing we didn’t like about our stay.

From the moment we arrived, we felt embraced by nature and hospitality. The hosts were exceptional - warm and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and meaningful. One of the highlights was the fully equipped kitchen in our cabin. It had everything we needed to prepare our own meals, and we really enjoyed cooking dinner with fresh local ingredients. Having the option to cook added an extra layer of comfort and made us feel right at home.

We Wish there was a different sitting area in the main room, two chairs to sit in after a long day of swimming was not very comfortable. Was given 2 rolls of toilet paper for a 4-day stay, when I asked for some more I was told that on longer stays we are supposed to get our own , the host did give me one more roll.

The apartment was a great size for the two of us. Short drive to the beaches. We brought our food and cooked it in-house. Had what we needed to do so. Bed was comfy. We stayed in the Torino apartment.

If you have considerate guests, you don't hear each other. Otherwise, you can hear everything, including running around, and moving of furniture.

Good location. Marta and Davide were very responsive to questions and needs. The facilities were very clean and it had pretty much everything you needed for your trip.

We stayed 9 days at Green Turtle with our 1 year old son. Our apartment “Madrid” had everything we needed. It is very spacious. The kitchen is great to cook your own meals. The second bedroom was perfect for us so that our little one had his own space. Everything in the apartment was clean. We enjoyed the pool as well. The hosts Davide&Marta are lovely people and they helped us with all our questions. We spent a lot of time at Mambo Beach which is a short drive away from the accommodation. It is also close to Jan Thiel and some supermarkets. The whole place is very peaceful and quiet. You feel like you got it just for yourself. You have the chance to do free laundry which was very handy for us. All in all we would definitely recommend staying at Green Lodge. We really enjoyed it.

Nothing!!

We loved staying at The Green Turtle, everything was perfect: the incredible hospitality from Marta and Davide (who gave us lots of advice on beaches, restaurants, things to see), the apartment that is spacious, clean, well equipped and quiet with a beautiful view of a very nice swimming pool (with some iguanas as guests!), the area that is perfect for every need (shops, restaurants and the beautiful Willemstad just 15 minutes away). The beaches are amazing and you can easily reach them by car. If you need a car, Marta and Davide have one to rent. We really found everything we needed for a wonderful family stay. Thanks Marta and Davide for everything, we will come back soon!! CIAO!!

The living room area got rather warm.. perhaps a combination of the increasingly hot weather lately and absence of window shades/curtains.

I really liked the kitchen amenities, the rustic feel and theme of the room and the overall quietness of the whole area. Our hosts are very hospitable and friendly!

good sized pool, shady places to sit, quiet neighbourhood, enthusiastic hosts. Great restaurant, Equus, 2 minutes walk away (but only open Friday nights).

The closest restaurant Equus, is only open on Fridays. There is however a pizza place nearby who may deliver. At the end of the dead-end road is Landhuis Jan Thiel, but it is not open to the public.

We spent a wonderful three weeks at Green Turtle Eco Lodge. The lodge is several self-catering apartments with a shared pool and laundry facilities. Davide and Marta are very attentive hosts, generally present at the building at least once every day or available whenever you need them via WhatsApp. Davide was very helpful to us when we ran into a problem with our rental car. Marta is a yoga instructor and is even available to be hired for private sessions by the pool! The pool area is very quiet because it is only for use by guests of the lodge. Several days we had it all to ourselves! It’s a great place to relax on a “down day” or to cool off after a long day of sightseeing. Parking is a small gravel lot just off the road with spaces for 6 cars. The Lodge is located off of the main road that runs between Willemstad and Jan Thiel beach area. A rental car is advised and Davide can help to arrange one for you. Being away from the main road and the beach club areas means the Lodge is very peaceful. The lodge is a perfect base for a long stay (we stayed for 3 weeks) and the wifi was excellent, I was able to work remotely. Davide is able to arrange to “meet and greet” you at the airport and/or bring you to the airport for departure, all for a reasonable fee to cover his time and gas. Kitchen appliances were provided like a toaster/toaster oven, coffeemaker and the kitchen dishes were enough for 2-4 persons.

Davide and Martha are the best! Every room has it's own signature. I stayed in INDIA and I loved it so much. The appartment is spacious and has a little kitchen area (I cooked twice), a comfy bed and a beautiful veranda. Loved sitting there in the evening (make sure you put mosquito repellent on :-)). It is a quiet area. Had good sleeps over there. Davide picked me up from the airport as I travelled without a car. I also had a beautiful yoga session with Martha on my veranda, just ask her if you are interested. There is no better way to start off the day. I also booked a day trip online "TURTLE OUTBACK AND SNORKEL SAFARI" with Breeze Adventures which I 100% can recommend (what to see: wild flamingos, Hato Cave, offroad in the desert, Windmill Farm, Sheke Boka NP - Boka Tabla, Lunch @restaurant Playa Forti, snorkel with turtles @playa Piskado/ Grandi, swim @playa Kenepa/ Grote Knip).

Location was great, very safe. Pool was lovely. Great to have laundry, very well stocked kitchen. Close to cool beaches, restaurants, grocery stores. Davide and Marta were lovely, so helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Davide and Marta are super caring, kind and detailed about everything and they made me feel really welcome. They offered me excellent service and my time in Curaçao was perfect because of them. Davide replied to my message super fast and I will say most hosts in the world don’t have such compassion and patience. Around the lodge there’s many restaurants options and also a Quickmart. I recommend a Chinese take-out food restaurant called New Century Snek. Also this hotel is super quiet so my sleep quality during my stay was A+. If you don’t drive just like me I suggest you join some daily tours like I did. Usually the tour agent will pick you up from this hotel without problem. Highly recommended. It was a great place, away from mass tourism. The location was green and calm, we could relax on the beautiful terace or at the pool. The owners are great hosts, that were heldfulp and quick to response to any little problem. Thank you!

Misrepresented on booking.com Very basic appartment who doesn't look like in the pictures. Not at all as advertised. Furniture and appliances are old. Poor quality/squeaky matresses. Stained and dusty furniture. Only option was to book a non-refundable stay. Had to leave after the first night and go elsewhere. Did not get a refund!
