Not really an issue, but that the parking lot instructions could inform that the day tickets can only be bought on working hours at the Information Center. Nonetheless, Kristýna was very quick to help us find another place to buy the day tickets.

Alt Straninger is simply amazing. Very easy and quick check-in and chek-out. All communication with the staff was swift, and Kristýna was super helpfull with all our needs. The location is excellent, very close to or on walking distance from all main city attractions and hot spots. We absolutely recommend!

We spent a wonderful week-end there. The location is awesome, the room is very beautiful, the breakfasts were great. We had the apartement on the first floor and everything about it was just perfect for us.

I sadly did not feel safe in this guesthouse. I was expecting to be greeted by a human but only given instructions over email even though this is not a digital hotel. The entrance is dark when you enter and feels really dingy. There is no communication from the hosts to ensure a smooth check-in, and the dim lights in the room and lack of cleanliness made it an unpleasant stay. I understand they want to maintain an old school charm but the dull lights and musky smell of old churches in the air was quite scary and I left after the 1st night even though I had paid for 3 nights. Didn't feel right at all.

The size of the room and the bathroom was newly refurbished.

Location, comfortable bed, blankets. Perfect for a short stay. Unfortunately the staff forgot to leave the vouchers for breakfast in the room. We had to call but the person on the phone was very nice and sorted it out very fast!

The curtains, rug and terracotta floors were not clean . I instantly reacted on my skin after touching the curtains. The foyer tiles were spotless but the rooms tiles were almost black . Fridge wasn’t clean , bathroom very small. We were there at the start of the heatwave and there is no air conditioning, just a pedestal fan. Not good when it’s boiling hot. We even travelling since May and found this accommodation to be the most disappointing. Would stay again if had a bit more love put into it.

Stunning building and gorgeous room. The beds were comfy and a lovely large room in a perfect location. The floors and roof timbers were stunning!

1. If you travel in the summer and you want to sleep in the night, this is not your place to stay. By closed windows you can't breath in the night and by open windows it's so loud all the night. We didn't slept both nights. And when we tried to rest in the midday heat in the room, there was such a loud and depressive music from the gallery downstairs. 2. Very uncomfortable bed. The topper of the mattress shifted all the time so in the middle was a hole all the time. 3.  Тhe soap dispensers are placed very high and extremely inconvenient to use 4. I can't rate appropriate the stuff, because I never saw them. The only communication was online and I always got the same answer as I asked for more information about the parking. 5. Actually we paid too much only for an amazing looking furniture and to be in the center. Biiig mistake 🙄 I 'm very disappointed.

It was clean. Good location. Easy check in. Very good breakfast. Amazing furniture in a very nice old style!
