Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

We had a pleasant stay at Apartma Andrea 1907. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had a great experience. The only minor issue was the humidity in the bathroom, which could be a bit high at times. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would recommend these apartments to others. Thank you for your hospitality!

Bathroom is very small and difficult to shower without putting water all over the floor. No mop or extra towels provided to manage this. We didn’t ask about the washing machine mentioned in the listing however it's not in the apartment itself; presumably a communal laundry for the building. Advertised on Booking.com as 2 brm but actually 1 brm with sofa bed in the lounge. The bed splits into two singles which seems to be common in Europe.
Great location very close to town centre and attractions. Exceptionally clean and well appointed. Excellent communication from friendly host with clear checkin instructions. Appreciated the flexibility with luggage storage.

Apt very suitable in walking distance to the pedestrian area of Karlovy Vary. Neat and clean, nice and tasteful design. Minimalistic but with everything what is needed for a stay. Klaudie answered quickly to all our questions. We were very satisfied.

The lobby or entrance way to the building is old and tired but looks like it might be under renovation - this is super minor and purely cosmetic and didn't effect our stay at all.
The apartment was great! Super clean, everything we needed and more. The location was great - easy walking distance to everything including the xmas markets, shops and transport. The host was lovely, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We would stay here again.

The apartment was squeaky clean, tastefully designed, perfectly comfortable. The location was just convenient and amazing, right in the centre so we could pop back there for a quick siesta anytime, no need to climb up any hill. The street is quiet, the bedroom faces the other way so we got undisturbed sleep. Coffee machine is just a bonus. Very helpful and friendly staff. We will gladly come back again.

A little difficult to understand how to arrive and find the apartment

The sofa was broken in the living room and i couldn't close it, i was alone in the apartment and didn't used it. The towels were not fresh but they were changed in the same day i asked for. Unfortunately there was no plac to dry the towels after the use. The TV is complicated to sign in, it would be better if the stuff was left a note with a guide. After 2-3 days the water in the bathroom wasn't drained good.
The location was great, the bed in the bedroom was comfortable and the pillows. The disign was clean, calm and nice. The kitchen has everything you need.

We wanted it to be more clear like the bath had a bad smell and it doesn't seem to be so well cleaned.
The location is really really good like in the center. The apartment is fine and the host is a very nice person. There was all the equipment needed such as coffee, hair dryer, etc

No toiletries (soup, shampoo, conditioner). No coffee or tea cups, only 2 small glasses. The Bed in the living room was uncomfortable specially for kids. The pillow falls off 100 times because it didn't have a bed support. Extra charges at the end due to mistakes made by booking.
