Great view of the square but because we were on the first floor, the square also had a great view of us. We stayed during a bit of a heatwave and had to keep the window (only one in our room) and curtains open to have any chance of getting air as it cooled off outside. For a room with only one window and no airflow a fan would have been a huge help, but no fan. The room did not cool off during the night. Of course, the temperature won't always be an issue and other rooms might have better airflow but it is something to be aware of. A simple fan might might have helped a lot to improve my experience.

Location is right on the town square. The host is very friendly. The breakfast is quite good. If you are travelling on a budget you can't beat this. A bit on the basic side but that suited us fine and it was still a bargain.

I don’t know if I just missed it being written somewhere, but you can only pay in cash and if you don’t have enough cash the ATM close by charges horrendous fees, so you have to walk a bit till the next bank.

Directly at the Centre Square, with everything within walking distance. The house is quite old, but everything is clean. You get a parking card so you can park your car for free and breakfast was simple, but good and the portions were big.

Nothing I disliked!

It's the best location in the old town overlooking the big square. The room is spacious, nicely furnished and comfortable. The bathroom is tastefully decorated and with strong shower pressure. Breakfst was simple, but plentiful and delicious! Mr. Michael Kotrba, the host, is super friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again! Hughly recommended!

The light was not quite enough for me. I wish the lighting could have been a bit brighter, or at least a desk lamp on the desk would be much easier for me to read and write.

it’s at the town square center. The room is very clean and comfortable. The host takes good care of their priority and guests. The communication was easy and prompt. At the last day, they let me store my luggage before my bus arrived. The price was lower than it was originally stated. The breakfast was fresh and well-prepared.

Location, comfort, cleanliness, great shower, very nice, generous breakfast, welcoming and available host. Comfortable bedding.

The only problem was the lack of shampoo or other kind of soap in the shower.

Amazing location right on the UNESCO world heritage square. The host was super nice and helpful. The room themselves are newly renovated and very clean. The host made us a great breakfast.

Michael the owner was gracious and kind. The rooms are much better than shown in the online photos. Spacious, comfortable, impeccably clean. Flat screen tv in room. Property is right on the historic square so the location could not be better. Free Parking within 100 yards. Excellent breakfast provided at the time you indicated upon arrival. Highly recommend.

It was great as it was.

A great place, located in the main square of the city, so everything you want to visit is within a walking distance. Plus a magnificent view - you, basically, see the whole Old Town from the window. Yummy breakfast and a very friendly owner. Kotrba privat, since it`s located in the historical part of Telc, doesn`t offer any parking space, but there is a big free parking 2 minutes from the hotel. And, next to the hotel, you`ll find a nice restaurant and a cafeteria, both offering something delicious at moderate prices.

The bed could be more comfortable .

1. The building is around the corner of the entrance to the historical square (if you come from the train/bus station), so save you some efforts in dragging your luggage along the cobbled street. 2. The room is basic, but very clean. 3. Guests could use the well-equipped kitchen. 4. The host lives upstairs and very friendly.

Sofa bed for the third person in our room was declared not the greatest. Only one set of keys.

Located right on the square in Telc. We had views on two sides which was fantastic. The host was welcoming and let us drop bags early. Breakfast is laid out at the time you request with a mixture of bread and cold items, yoghurt and a piece of cake. It was lovely. He was kind enough to do a really early breakfast when we needed to go and catch a train

Everything was quite good.

Large spacious room with plenty of storage. Wonderful location right on the Square with a great view. Comfortable loveseat plus a small table and chairs. Fridge. Nice bathroom with a wonderful shower. Immaculately clean. The host was very friendly and accommodating. We had to leave early our last morning to catch a train and he served us breakfast early. Excellent breakfast with fresh cheeses and meats, bread and rolls, yogurt, a tasty pastry, and yogurt each morning. It was an excellent value. We would definitely stay here again.

1. You have to call the owner's mobile phone to get in touch! No one answered the doorbell on the day of check-in. We sent a message through booking.com but no one answered. Fortunately, our mobile phone can make local calls. 2. The owner does not read the message left through Booking.com! It was not until the day of check-in that I found out that the owner thought I was booking a single room! I reported on the spot many times that I left messages on booking.com more than half a year ago to change from a single room to a twin room. Because there are two people to stay at. But the owner pretended not to hear and completely ignored my request. It's ridiculous! No apologies! Arrogant and rude attitude, rude behavior! That made us really uncomfortable! 3. Unreasonable charges The owner has three rooms in total. Room no.2 and room no.3 are super large. Room no.1 is super small, half to one-third of the size of other rooms. Regardless of the size of the room, as long as two people stay in one room, the charge is the same. The room rate is only divided into single occupancy and double occupancy. Of course, we stayed in the smallest room 1. Two suitcases can hardly be opened at the same time. The space is quite cramped and uncomfortable! Room no.2 and no.3 have an extra double sofa, so if you want to open four suitcases at the same time, there should be no problem. The room conditions are very different, but the room rate is the same. Do you think this is reasonable? 4. The bed is too soft. Once you lie down, you will sink into it. 5. It is very noisy outside Even though it is already 11:30 pm, you still have to close the double-layer windows to block the noise outside the window. After closing the windows, the air in the room is not circulated and it seems stuffy.

The price is the same whether it is 1 or 2 people which is fine but I requested a large bed and got one but strangely only got bedding for 1 small one. Should make it clearer in site information that they only take cash.

Location is great. Room basic but price reflects this.
