Very clean and convenient with free on site parking. Lovely terrasse facing the forest. Room was spacious and clean and very peaceful atmosphere as the hotel is so close to the forest. If you don’t mind walking 30 minutes (or take the tram) to access city center it’s a very good option.

Not their fault but the tram to town is a bit of a rip-off (10+ euros return for the two of us for a five minute ride) but it’s a trek in the heat otherwise.

the mattress was a bit too soft. no bathtub. shower could not be closed, so the floor got wet.

the colors of the room, not too small, cozy. the shower (area) was pretty spacious, hot water was available all day and night. fresh towels everyday. staff was very kind. surrounding area was calm, no loud sounds/ crowds. vicinity/ close to town center. forest lake and restaurant nearby. nature nature nature, great for hiking and running.

Lovely staff. Great location, could walk into the Black Forest from the doorstep. Not too far from the tram stop either so we could travel into Freiburg easily. Comfortable bed and very clean room, access to fresh towels as needed. We liked relaxing with a coffee at the reception. The balcony area was great.

Only thing was the lack of a kettle in the room, however this was provided as soon as we asked, they are just not left in the rooms. Limited breakfast options, only bread & rolls to order. Sit down continental would have been nice but plenty of places to go nearby as alternative.

Well equipped room with a comfortable bed and spacious shower. Perfectly located for easy access to car parking. Quiet and serene environment. Short walk to the trams through a park. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I stayed in the house part. Really liked it. The room had enough space, was very beautiful. The parking spot was just opposite the room door. The territory of the guest house was green and so beautiful. I had a pleasure staying there. Thank you!

It’s not particularly close to the city center or the train station, and looking at the photos online we did not realize it was a Gasthaus which is part of a campground.

Very clean, very close to forest, pretty walk to catch the tram into town. Owner/host was very efficient and very nice, even when clearly super busy.

Reception opening hours and having to book rolls to purchase .No air conditioning in rooms

It was very clean in a great location near to a small shopping centre & near to the tram . Beds were very comfortable and there was a communal kitchen if needed . Plenty of towels available . Staff were really lovely and helpful .plenty of outdoor seating and beautiful views of mountains in forestry the only negative would be not much food for sale to eat on site and opening hours of reception

The cafe was closed :). This was a problem for breakfast, so I had to go into town . The distance to the train station - it's about 12 min walk to the train station (no buses) , so if you have big bags/backpack the walk will be a problem.

I love the Gueshouse and the gentleman who helped me was amazingly friendly. The place is super clean, great wifi and quiet. This was one of the best receptions in a while. I had missed the email with my code for the key and panicked because my train was late but he was so calm and professional He helped me 200% of the way in a friendly and kind manner. Thanks for that. I would reccomend this place for sure.

Breakfast consisted of excellent, freshly baked bread rolls which had to be ordered the night before. One day I forgot to order and had to go without. My fault, but without a car, the next source of food was a half hours walk away!

Lovely apartment on quiet, pleasant campsite, just on the outskirts of Freiburg. The gardens were very attractive and the whole place was clean and well maintained. Forest walks and biking trails nearby.

Everything was super clean and nice. You can enjoy a good coffee in a very nice garden. Perfect location for MTB, Freiburg trails as well as exploring the city! Biking is also highly recommended, as it's very difficult to park in the city. Prices are on the higher side, but that seems to be the standard for the area.
