The resort is architecturally beautiful and well maintained. It’s not brand new, but renovations are underway. The location is perfect if you’re looking for total relaxation or traveling with family – the coral reef is literally a few meters from the shore, absolutely stunning! There are two large pool areas, one with slides, and around the resort there’s only desert and peace – ideal for disconnecting completely. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and fairly clean. The lobby is large and elegant, with a kids’ area and a gym. The food is buffet-style, mostly international, with tasty Egyptian nights on Mondays and Fridays. The staff really make the difference: Mahmoud at reception is kind, professional, and always helpful. Also, the pool attendant, the bartender, and the restaurant maître d’ are all friendly and welcoming. Some staff members are less attentive, but overall the atmosphere is warm and pleasant. Bring your own beach towels – the resort’s are quite worn out. When the hotel is full, there can be some chaos with sunbeds and meals, but nothing major. Overall, great value for money, beautiful sea, and cheerful but never intrusive animation. Perfect for those seeking relaxation and natural beauty!

The rocky sea

I had a wonderful stay at Coral Hills Resort & Spa in Marsa Alam. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, especially Mr. Sherif, the Front Desk Manager. He was very respectful, understanding, and went above and beyond by upgrading us for free – which made our stay even more enjoyable. The villa we stayed in was very clean and well-maintained. Special thanks also to Mohammed, the bartender, who was excellent, as well as the bartender at the Royal Pub, who was equally professional and friendly. The food could be improved, but for the price we paid, it was still reasonable and didn’t affect our overall experience. Overall, it was a very good experience that I would definitely love to repeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Marsa Alam.

The food was ok but it was very local oriented. They didn't offer alot of options and there was not much international choices. The outside bars and beach bars were always out of food or cups or drinks. I waited 2 hours one day for french fries. Overall for the price it was very good. But the food and food service could do with a lot of work. It was hard for my daughter to find something to eat. I had to supplement with snacks from the inside store.

The manager and hotel staff were very friendly and went out if there way to make us feel comfortable. We enjoyed the outside excursions. And everyone was very Friendly. I really enjoyed the soup!

Furniture can use an upgrade or repair. Many creaky/wobbly things. Outlets in rooms very loose, gaps between doors, etc.. None of it was a dealbreaker, but you notice it throughout the stay. Animation team was a little too intense and persuasive sometimes.. Let the guests decide if they want to join an activity or not, don't force them.. Music can be quite loud and the playlist in the dining hall should be extended, the same songs played over and over again and you'd hear them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The location, the general friendliness of the staff, and the amount of experiences offered on site. Overall it was great value for money, and perhaps not more should be expected, but there are definitely improvements that can be made.

Lunch was poor, I couldn't find any snacks and the offered games (Billiards and ping-pong) were in a terrible condition.

We had a truly wonderful 6-night stay at the hotel, and we are deeply grateful for the warm hospitality and high level of service we experienced throughout. A special thanks to Mr. Sheriff, the facility manager, who was incredibly cooperative and welcoming. Although a family room wasn't available, he went the extra mile to arrange two rooms next to each other, which made our stay much more comfortable. We are also very thankful to Mr. Mohamed Hossan, the Beverage and Catering Manager, for his remarkable attention to detail with both guests and staff. His professionalism is outstanding. The restaurant staff were excellent—always responsible, responsive, and kind. The food had a comforting homemade touch, with a good variety, especially at dinner. We enjoyed kofta and zalabiya the most. Also the freshly cut watermelons. The entertainment team, consisting of cheerful Egyptian and international members, brought fun and positive energy throughout the day and night. Their daily and evening programs were creative and engaging for all ages. We also truly appreciated the work of the housekeeping staff, the gardeners, and the lifeguards at the pool and shore areas. Their dedication made the whole environment clean, safe, and beautiful. Another highlight of our trip was dealing with the Deep Blue Ocean Team. We had a memorable excursion aboard the Vencia boat, where we were lucky enough to swim with dolphins and turtles, and even spot a dugong—an unforgettable experience! A heartfelt thank you to the amazing Divers Team: Mohamed, Saddam, Ayman the cameraman, Kareem Mako, and our helpful tour guide Abdullah from Coral Tour Co. Their professionalism, friendliness, and guidance made the day truly special. Overall, our stay combined comfort, kindness, and adventure—leaving us with beautiful memories. We would gladly come back again and highly recommend this place to others.
