A little dark, lack of natural light. Nescafe but no capsules. Noise from the pedestrian street during night. No good isolation in the bedroom. Wifi signal is very weak.

Location at old town. Clean and tidy.

The appartment was a bit too dark - not much daylight coming in - to my taste

If you love aesthetics (old as well as new design) and want to stay in the medieval town of Javea this is a great location.

Although helpful against the heat outside, the apartment is quite dark and the small balcony is not really a place to sit. There were feasts and the noise during the night was unbelievable. With that in mind: a new bar is to be opened on the groundfloor. The old centre is quite far from the beach and the apartment had no information on buses, taxis, or anything else, but the tourist info centre opened after the feast days and that was helpful. There was a coffee maker but only 2 cups for 4 days and no tea. Nor was there any body soap or shampoo. For an apartment that cost about € 100 per night I think those supplies could have been better.

It is a very well decorated old apartment, with a beautiful bedroom, in the old centre of Javea.

Beware of the very steep stairs on entry up to the apartment, fortunately i didn't have much luggage. The worse thing about my safe was NO WiFi!!!! I immediately contacted the host who said he'd fix it asap, nope! A few hours later i contacted him again and he suggested i use the WiFi network of the cafe across the way as theirs was the strongest signal on the dropdown network list! He then suggested i go there for a coffee and ask them for their password!!!! I replied no, you go and text me with it! So that's how i got WiFi using Fabrizio cafe's network the whole time during my 2 night stay!!!! I texted him twice the next day to see if the apartments WiFi was fixed and he replied 'working on it' with not a very nice attitude when i was so patient and polite with him and the one being inconvenienced!! I would not recommend to stay here because as i said, it's cold, awful musty smelling bedroom with bad lighting, overall not a pleasant stay and a bad host.

good location in the heart of the Old Town, only 5 minutes walk from the bus station, lots of restaurants and shops nearby, 20 minute walk to the port and beach. The apartment was very quiet, the living area was very cold as at the back of the building, it gets no daylight or sun. No view from the lounge/dinning area window as it looks out to the trellis covered window of Fabrizio cafe in the next building, about 4ft away!! The bathroom was compact yet nice and clean and excellent shower water pressure. The bedroom smelt musty but does have a small balcony with french doors so i left them open to let in fresh air during the day. Very ornate ceiling however no pendant light, instead there is a LED strip light build into part the architrave high to the ceiling. At first i thought this was clever but oh nooo, i didn't sleep a wink as when you switch it off it stills glows, shining up on the white ceiling border, it's horrible a glooming light from above making it impossible to sleep! When i finally did drop off to sleep i was awoken early by the loud annoying whistling of a neighbours canary bird nin a cage on their balcony across the street!! The kitchen was Ok, nice saucepans and enough utensils but no kettle only a coffee machine but i drink tea!
