How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Transport was a bit of an issue, some more info on navigating the buses and how best to order a taxi would be great! Bolt and Uber unfortunately weren't available.
Great staff who were really friendly and informative and a great place to stay that is close to restaurants and bars. We also got a free breakfast for not needing the room to be cleaned which was really appreciated.

Really clean and welcoming hotel. Great price also. Brilliant coffee in reception for guests as well as juice machines for free.

At night it was a bit too noisy. Woke up to the conversation of a late night check in.
The location was good, with a a very short walk you can reach both the main attractions and the bus terminal to get to the sea

The room was very plain and basic. Sadly also the walls really dirty.
Area downstairs is nicely designed and we stayed there to play some games and such cause it was very cozy. The location is perfect and well connected to anywhere, beach or central station

The lights in our room where no working properly, the shower head was broken and there where no blankets available in the room.
Great location in a nice and quiet neighborhood. The staff was very friendly.

I applaud the lack of single use plastic in the rooms but this could be extended (e.g. by not using single use plastic for butter at breakfast).
Nice clean, modern hotel in the heart of the city.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was great and the bathroom very large. Nice linens and towels. Free breakfast buffet and freshly squeezed OJ was terrific! We had a great stay.

Air conditioning was not easy to control, if on, the room was too cold, ended up just sleeping with window open, a bit too warm, but better than freezing.
Good location with easy access to city, train and work, clean, and friendly.

Easy to find and was able to drive straight in to the garage before checking in. The receptionist was very nice and spoke English. Room was spacious and clean. As usual in Spanish hotels there was no drink facilities in the room, so we always take a kettle, mugs, tea and coffee. There was a little fridge in the room. Bed was comfortable, shower hot and nothing to complain about. We wanted a late lunch and one of the staff pointed to behind the Church where there are 2 restaurants. Really good location.

You could hear everything through the walls.

Although our room was clean, the common areas were not the cleanest like the corridor, stairs etc. Also the utensils at breakfast, mostly the spoons, were often dirty. I was very disappointed, when I wrote to the hotel one week before, saying we booked for one week with breakfast included, to ask, if they had vegan options available, and the answer was just ‘No, we have no vegan options.’. Really!? Had to write to ask if there’s bread, fruit, cereal, plant based milk etc and then it suddenly turned out that yes, these things are available for breakfast. But no offer to provide something extra or anything, which other structures have suggested.
The hotel has an excellent location with ample street parking nearby. It’s in a walking distance from everything. There are various bars and some groceries nearby. Our room was not too big, but there was quite a spacious wardrobe. There was a mini fridge and a safe. The area is quite residential, so it was quiet during the night. The bathroom and the shower were quite spacious. Although the shower head was small but with good water pressure.
