How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

A bit long to get to from the airport via metro (about 50 min), however it's very quick by taxi (15 min). Although this was not a problem for our stay.
It was easy to get in, the beds were comfortable, and the room was nice and clean. the air conditioning was also lovely and cold and easy to use. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. The property is very close to a metro station that takes you straight into the city. overall a great stay with a very convenient location.

I got the room with private bathroom, but the bathroom for our room was outside the room. The safe for the keys was jammed and I couldn't open it with the code. Someone from the hostel was supposed to come in the night to open it.
There was always someone available for questions/needs. The hostel is very close to the train station, so it's easy to get to the centre of Valencia.

Two plugs did not work. The drainage in the shower didn't work so the bathroom was flooded after a shower. The room was cleaned every day, besides my last day of stay and I did not have any toilet paper anymore since they didn't bring any new.
The room looked like on the pictures, simple but with everything that is needed. There was a cute Backyard and terrace to use with grill and a kitchen for own use. Getting in the property and leaving was easy.

The place was cozy and down-to-earth. The metro is in front of the hostel, which may cause noise. Nice budget stay if you are looking for somewhere closer to Fira de València.

It's noisy even at night due to trains passing less than 100m away from the window of our room. We had private bathroom, but it was outside of the room and needed to be opened with key each time.
Communication with the host was great, the place was small, but clean and the bed was comfortable. There is also a shared kitchen and amazing backyard that I am sure we would enjoy even more at summertime. It's literally in front of a metro station. Free parking and easy check in and check out.

Check in proceed is unclear. There is no front desk and you have to get through a gate with a code to access the property.
Room size, courtyard/garden, and access to kitchen with fridges, and transit line night there. Easy access to the city.

1-minimal knowledge of the English language 2- it is a bit far from the tourist center and the metro is open until 10 in the evening, so those who intend to take a walk until late to get back must take a taxi.
accommodation is well connected to the metro a with 20 minutes you arrive at the historic center and from the airport it takes 50 minutes by metro.

Our bathroom being in the hall. We couldn’t sleep because of the noise of the trains on the adjacent track.

The shower has no basin. So the water will flood the entire bathroom. And if two people wash long hair, it might also flood the whole room. Wrong constructed in my opinion. And quite annoying if you want to keep dry feet after showering. Also the drain did not do its job as it should.
Lovely bright rooms with comfortable bed. Lovely little garden, even a pool. Super calm area, train next door. Perfect for a quiet stay!

Didn't bother us but some people may not be happy with the sound of the trains.
Brilliant location, the train was opposite to take you into Valencia. Supermarkets with in walking distance. Easy to park. Great little bars close by. The accommodation had a lovely pool and great outdoor space to relax. A fully equipped kitchen to use if needed. Obviously you were next to the train line so expect a little noise.
