Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe stairs are very steep and narrow, which is to be expected in a property of this age. A slight issue was that on the second night the air conditioning started to make an intermittent low rumble, lasting around 15 seconds, every 5 minutes or so, so that in the end we switched it off. It may just need servicing as it wasn't doing it the first night, however, neither of these small things would deter us from booking the apartment again, as what we liked far outweighed these minor issues.
The apartment is gorgeous and well maintained and the location is excellent. Very spacious and well equipped, with air conditioning and a fabulous view over the square. The host had kindly left pods for the washing machine, washing up liquid, soap and shampoo and nice towels in the bathroom The door code to the building was easy to use and the key safe for the apartment door worked well. We had plenty of information provided to us before we arrived and were given clear and easy instructions about the property and how to access it. We would most definitely stay here again.

NetherlandsMinor quibbles: the entrance door to the apartment itself opens the wrong way (to the left), so there's a held up before you can close the door and 2 wine glasses would have been nice (there's only 1, so one might have got broken; lots of other glasses though)
Spacious apartment exactly as in the pictures (well, they changed chairs in the meantime, but the new ones are probably more comfortable than the ones in the picture). It is nicely located on a small square with restaurants, bars and small shops. We enjoyed sitting in front of the open windows and the liveliness. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this might not be the best choice for you; not that the area is extremely noisy, but it isn't quiet either. Parking in the El Arenal parking garage is less than a 5 minutes walk away. Many major attractions are within 5-10 minutes walk (including Tio Pepe bodega). The cleaning was impeccable and the WIFI reception throughout the apartment was very good. People with walking difficulties should take into account the following: the entrance step is quite high, so that is quite a step. Stairs to the first floor are not too high and have a good railing. Short before arrival one receives an entry code to the apartment and inside the apartment are the keys. Entrance code works throughout your stay though.

AustraliaA most comfortable and well equipped apartment. A fabulous location and very helpful staff. We enjoyed being able to cook a meal and eat at the many restaurants at the plaza below.

United KingdomCentral location is fantastic, food and drink all around, parking very nearby (and cheap). Everything comfortable and working - hot water, fridge, cooker, TV, a/c, security. Take directions for the Los Cisness Parking not for Calle Belen as it is pedestrian - easier in a small car too. Hosts were excellent whenever contact made, thank you.

SpainTended to be a bit noisy with a few drunks coming back through the Plaza after the bars closed, but still managed to get a good sleep
Spacious, bright and well-appointed apartment. Great location in a small plaza, full of good restaurants and bars. 5 minutes walk from the cathedral, Alcazar and Tio Pepe.

New ZealandIt is above a popular café area, which is part of its charm, so if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs.
The atmosphere and attention to detail in this lovely apartment really made my stay.

GermanyThe central location comes with noisy nights and little sleep (bars downstairs, street cleaning early in the morning), the windows aren't isolated. The drains smell badly, especially in the bathroom and the appliances are improvised and securitywise questionable. The towels and linen were clean, but the dishes were dirty (we blame previous customers!) and the floor was quite dusty, with hair in some spots. There is a broom but no vacuum. The coffee maker is not intuitive, there should be a brief instruction next to it (i.e. keep pressing the button!). Other reviews stressed the owners friendliness and consideration. We only received automated messages confirming the booking and about the check in. The place is lovely but it needs a deep clean and an electrician's check up!
Very central and close to Jerez' sights. Lots of natural light in the charming-tasteful-modern loft. Very comfortable furniture: chairs, sofa and bed - with three different cushions, according to your preferences. They are twin beds though, a queen size would be nicer! Well thought through - there even was a detergent pod so we could do laundry without having to buy a big bottle of detergent. Well equipped kitchen with all the basic utensils.
