Newly decorated rooms, excellent shower, very comfortable bed, warm welcome and easy to follow explanations to get access into the room, wonderful freshly made breakfast , french orange juice and good coffee. Perfect location for seafront, local restaurants. Excellent value for money.

This place is a real gem. The room itself had a gorgeous design. Every detail is perfectly plan and complement the interior. The bathroom has a perfect layout. The room was spotless. It was simply a pleasure to stay at a place like that. Maria (host) was very kind and we had no trouble with contacting her. Always ready to give right recommendations. The breakfast that was included was simple with a few options to choose from and delicious. Close to the beach cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Peniscola.

Cleanest apartment we've rented in ages. Cleaned everyday too, which was amazing. Apartments are right next to a big parking lot and literally a 2 minute walk away from the beach. Our room had a view of the sea. Check-in and check-out were really easy, no contact with any personnel. The included breakfast was great, especially the coffee was unparalleled in the city =)

Perfect location for the beach and the very many restaurants! Modern. Spotless. Online check in and self entry. We were however greeted by Maria who is very friendly and helpful, as are the staff in their adjoining restaurant.

We loved everything about this place. Wouldn't change anything.

We loved our stay, the room is fantastic with the best feature of the bathtub with beach views. Communication with the hotel was great, they made sure the room was ready with the extra beds needed for the kids and everything was so great that we extended our stay to one more night. We switched to smaller room but was as good and comfy as the original one. The location is amazing, close to south and north beach and in the middle of restaurants, shops and bars. Even though you are right on the center of the city the room is quite. Following the parking instructions from the hotel we were able to park of the street without any issue. Another great feature for the location is that there is a playground next to it which was great for the kids.

The communication was excellent, Maria was so helpful. The room was large and very well decorated. She made sure we had the best experience staying with them. The breakfast was SUPER GENEROUS and delicious! No parking onsite because it's in the busiest zone, but the room was very quiet, and I couldn't hear any noise at all. Parking is only a short 3-minute walk away (public parking). During some hours it's a bit hard to find parking spots, because it's right between two beaches. However, I found no issue at all to secure for my three-night stay.

Location was excellent . Extremely clean spotless room. Everyone was friendly and helpful . Maria the contact and part owner was very personable available and always a message away on WhatsApp. Would stay there again. Highly recommended . Have stayed in many places around the world , everything was second to none . Location location location . What you see is what you get.

The only problem is that the parking is public, so sometimes there is no free space, especially during weekends could be packed. So be prepared

The localisation is great, in the city center. The room is very clean and we can saw the sea. the room was clean and the interior was neat. Breakfast was good in the restaurant on the ground floor.

Only the weather was disappointing but apparently there are only 5 or so rainy days all year. The upside is that it means we will have to return to enjoy the suite room when its hot and sunny!

Absolutely fantastic place! After a long drive from Madrid, we arrived to find my husband's favourite organic red wine waiting for us. We were actually getting married in nearby Benicarlo and our suite room could not have been more perfect. Maria was just amazing and we really appreciated the wine and her overall helpfulness. She also sent us a list of good restaurants in the area so we enjoyed a beautiful Asian meal in Mandarino on the first night. The natural design details of our room were simply beautiful including lighting, organic cotton bedding on luxuriously large bed from where u can lay back and look up at the stars on a clear night and free-standing bathtub. There were naturally textured large wall tiles and well thought out spaces to put belongings. Then there's the very large balcony that looks out to the sea. Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side but when it's sunny you can easily walk across for a quick swim and back to relax on the balcony. Even the weather hardly mattered as we could spend more time in this sublime room..... Tasty breakfast is downstairs in the cafe and included a wonderful oat milk latte..... Thankyou so much Maria, your place will always have a special place in our hearts and we will definately be back!!

This was by far the best place we have stayed at in Spain and this is our 4th trip and we usually stay at 4 or 5 star hotels. The place was absolutely spotless and decorated with style. Everything was perfect.

What did I like about the property? Everything! Such great taste in the design and the choices. Everything was exceptional. The bed linens were a dream to sleep in. So soft and high end fantastic. The hotel is brilliantly located between both the main beaches of this busy seaside town. Our beautiful room overlooked the tranquil bay of the playa sur; a very easy stroll from the hotel to the, excellent value, beach sun beds and umbrellas - still available to rent at the beginning of October; which is such a safe place to swim. The hotel is within minutes walk of the castle and old Town - with great views to enjoy because of its excellent location. Maria and her family have created a fantastic hotel, to add to their already thriving restaurant. We loved everything about our stay here: the calm style of the rooms; the spotless cleanliness; the attention to detail and the wonderfully warm - and efficient - welcome from Maria, who speaks excellent English, after her work and travels in London and Australia. We also enjoyed the views from our huge balcony, the historic aspects of Peniscola and all the bars, restaurants and shops (and very good parking) that surround Xulos. We would so happily return to visit here again to enjoy another wonderful stay at this beautifully designed seaside hotel.

Great, Fantastic, Amazing. Wow. The Best Private Hotel I ever seen. A very good location. Rooms - so beautiful and amply - feels like at home. Absolutely like in the photos, even better in the reality. Very quiet (windows with noise cancelation). The bathroom - really something amazing. Breakfasts were very delicious and served on the open terrace. As well, launch and dinner, in all respects, believe, the best one in Peniscola. Owner has invested a lot of love and soul in this Hotel. Definitely will come back to XULOS - The Heart of Peniscola. Great thanks to Maria, who is owner / designer / creator of this hotel. She made our stay Amazing. The only very positive emotions.
