“Host was helpful and quick to provide services eg laundry, extra TP etc. I arrived a bit early by train, but I contacted Christian the day before, and we arranged an earlier check-in that worked for both of us. Christian is very generous and kind, surpising this visitor with a welcome croissant and a musical concert with his many stringed instruments. If you love Willie Nelson, Neil Young, Bob Dylan et al, you have arrived at Maison d'Alba. Room was large, facilities worked. It's a charming, old Maison/Hotel. If you are happy with esssentials and not looking for luxe, then this is the place.”
